Refreshing
This is lovely and refreshing, with a subtle, crisp taste. It has the faintest hint of sweetness, and maybe the faintest hint of fresh wood in its flavour. It's a really delicate flavour, but it's glorious! One thing I like about this particular Birch water is that it's in glass bottles that are of course reusable and recyclable, but also don't impart a flavour to the delicately-flavoured contents. It might just be me, but I can taste the plastic in pretty-much anything supplied in a plastic bottle, and can often taste some sort of cardboard or coating type of taste in things supplied in a carton. The main thing I like about this particular Birch water is its consistency and quality. I have tried other brands, some of which were much more expensive, and they were extremely variable, often tasting like musty water or cardboard! This stuff is consistent. Whilst it doesn't compare to the real thing straight from a tree, it's the closest stuff I've found yet that's conveniently bottled and capable of being stored. Birch water has numerous reported health benefits - but be warned, you probably need to be in the far north, drinking gallons of the fresh unpasteurised stuff daily to realise a lot of them; however, I can certainly report that drinking this gives me a brightness, alertness, and "feel-good" boost shortly after I've consumed it. It's like a caffeine-hit without the side effects and subsequent slump. Plus, it contains trace minerals and things. But ignoring all the alleged health benefits, just as a drink in its own right, it's wonderful. I don't like most soft drinks, instead opting for water or tea... but this is wonderful. It is what I'd imagine drinking the morning dew on an early spring day in a remote and unspoiled Scandinavian forest would be like. I intend to try one bottle as a mixer with a shot of Koskenkorva or Freya in it as a long drink, as an experiment soon - although it's a bit pricey to be using for things like that!

Tastes a little acidic which spoils it
Decided to taste another brand of Birch water. Sadly, this one tastes a little acidic. There’s 0.05% citric acid in this one, as a preservative no doubt. The problem is, as this is such a subtle drink, I can taste it. I’ll be going back to Tåpped from now on.

Good healthy drink
Very refreshing and a healthy drink. I first learned about birch water from a Swedish girl and its health benefits. I ordered a months supply and on my second week I feel a difference in my overall energy and endurance in sports.
