I bought my neighbor's old golf cart, but it's going to take some work to get it in shape. This connector will replace the battery's original connector.I've used this style connector before (though it was the much smaller version) for additional 12v wiring in my suv. This style is a fantastic design; especially because there's only one connector, not different "male" and "female" connectors. It goes together (and separates) with a firm effort, about what I'd want for something which carries a lot of current. When the time comes to begin attaching cables, I'm going to need a much larger crimper than I currently have.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a pair of connectors that mate with each other for disconnect (not current interrupting) application. If you've ever had experience with connectors that look like this it is self explanatory but not depicted clearly in the ad. The contacts have a .43" or 11mm ID. Probably best suited for 3/0 wire to get a good crimp. The contacts insert and click into place from the back of the connector housing. They also come with protective covers for when disconnected. There doesn't seem to be much of a detent to hold them on. They just stay on with the spring pressure of the contexts, which seems adequate.
