Loma Linda Big Franks- 15 oz

We grew up eating these. Very tasty. They are already cooked but highly recommend putting in microwave for a minute before eating. Or you can grill them. They are tasty if you put in air fryer or fry them in skillet in butter with a little onion powder and garlic salt.

There is a local hot dog stand that operates in my downtown and they have the absolute best vegan hot dogs. I've tried all the brands and while they're all decent, none ever came close to the one I would get downtown. One evening, I happened to glance down at the bottom of the vendor's cart and noticed a red can with a cursive logo. I couldn't really make it out so I google'd the description and found these. I ordered them and they were sure enough it. I was skeptical at first since they come in a can and are not refrigerated, but wow these are just the best. The flavor, the consistency and everything. This is the pinnacle of vegan hot dogs or if you're a meat eater, this is a great guilt-free much lower fat option than a regular hot dog. Even my friends who eat meat love these vegan hot dogs. The price is a little higher than most competitors, but obviously the product and the demand make it well worth it.

Tried this product just to see how it tastes and how close its texture is to the typical meat hotdog. I’d be hard pressed to go meatless, but this product does have a good taste and texture, much like a meat hotdog. Meat hotdogs I microwave for about 1 min, but these took only about 30 seconds. Cooking them in the pan and on the grill they present very much like a typical hotdog, they just burn faster and are held together a little more delicately. They taste slightly like a meat hotdog although they have much less taste. After trying some other vegan hotdogs and some fat free meat dogs, these are the best yet for taste and texture.

I was a little disappointed in the fact that there were only six, when usually there eight. But, that is what is happening with all food. High in price, won't be using it as much. But, still a great product. I am vegan and have used this for many years.
