The media could not be loaded. They did a great job with this light saber. The length is fantastic and it has a 1 inch blade and the durability is amazing. It has a good solid weight to it and a beautiful machine aluminum hilt. That’s the handle in case you didn’t know. The colors are easy to change and there are 16 different colors. It’s a simple as pushing the button three times to change your color instead of waiting 3 to 5 seconds for the colors to change. It would be a great light saber for dueling and a beautiful decorative or fun cosplay item. You can be any Jedi or Sith you want with this lightsaber. Sound is loud and I feel it’s worth every penny not to mention you can control different sounds and blasts and turn it on or off completely. Lastly, battery life is great and easy to charge by plugging in right above the button. No removing batteries since they’re rechargeable. They thought of everything. Wow! I was genuinely surprised by this YDD saber. The other types of YDD saber are really nothing fantastic, but this just hits it out of the park! Handle is of very high quality, and the power button even glows when activated. Also, there is a power up and power down effect (gradual climb of light up and down; like a real lightsaber). Sound effects are very loud and of the highest quality. And there is even a flash on clash! This lightsaber is perfect for anyone; the duelist, collector, or like me: a plain old Star Wars fan!

I bought this a little over a year ago .when it came I was very excited .I charged it and it worked well. I kept it as a showpiece on the shelf did not use it for dueling and to this day is in pristine condition however it no longer works and the power button just slow flashes. I contacted the company and asked for an exchange but all they offered was a part for me to disassemble and solder onto my existing light saver. I don’t have the know how or capability to make this repair and offered to pay for shipping on a full exchange. This model does not separate in the middle to easily remove the internals. Everything is sealed deep in the handle. If the company exchanges this item I will update this review.UPDATE 7/13/2022 after negotiating back-and-forth with the company for 2 months they said regardless of their own manufacture defects it’s been over a year and they will not support any exchanges or parts to fix the lightsaber . So After spending $100 and using it maybe three times because it was mainly just a showpiece they want me to order another one. I do not recommend this product and unfortunately it gets four stars from Amazon and I honestly don’t see how.

I really like this lightsaber. It has a unique design that I love, and the sensitivity of the flash on clash is great. I just wish that the sound effects for the swiping movement endured for the whole movement, not just small slashes. I also would like a manual please? How do I change colors? or sound effects? This is, by far, the best lightsaber I've ever bought on Amazon. I made my own sith costume, and this was the missing puzzle piece. Just so unique and beautiful.

I kind of skeptic how this YDD brand lightsaber will perform. Soon as I received the lightsaber, I checked the quality of the blade is pretty solid, hilt is solid also. This is a battle ready lightsaber, it has 16 colors, you don't need a kyber crystals to change the blade color and it has 4 sound mode, it vibrates when it clashed. I compare the lightsaber that I build from Disney Star Wars Edge, YDD Pernach is more sturdy and you can do different light saber movements. I tried to battle the lightsaber from Disney Star Wars edge it almost break.Quality & price I will go for YDD Pernach. I did not regret purchasing this YDD Pernach.I don't review product a lot but this one satisfied my purchased. YDD did not pay me to have this review. This is an honest review.10/10/19 UpdateI change the rating for this product because I noticed that when I recharged the light saber it doesn't automatically stop, the saber charging light switch keeps on blinking, I recharged it for 2 days and it doesn't indicate if the battery is fully charged.

It came over a month early and is the best surprise I got during covid. It was easy to put together and figure everything out. My only thing is adding instructions for the button or assembly would of been nice. What they dont tell you is you can change sound option and two button presses does this cool flashy mode. Would definitely by again.

I have played with this saber and hit it against stuff decently hard and even had a saber fight with my kid and its holding up. kind of difficult to change the colors but other than that I highly recommend.
