A Really Attractive Lego Set
This is a lovely Lego set, offering two different build options. My son built the Sandman’s Tower first and it kept him occupied for ages. The finished build is even nicer than the pictures - a stunning tower that looks very striking on display. It has lots of little details that really make the piece. It also comes with some cool Lego figures, each interesting and different. Very pleased with this.

A fascinating set for a very young fan of the LEGO DREAMZzz universe 🏰
The media could not be loaded. LEGO Sandman's Tower is a Dreamzzz set that includes: Sandman, Izzie, Mateo, Logan, the Never Witch, Sneak, three spiders, and the Sandman's Tower.Based on the TV series, this building set gives children the opportunity to help the hero figures defend the Sandman’s magical home from the evil Never Witch and her henchman (dog/cat?) Sneak. The Sandman is a dream creature who recycles forgotten dreams into fresh ones and serves as an hourglass repairman for dreamers. He lives in his Tower within the Murky Realm. This building set offers 2 building options: to transform it into an impressive fortress that has an hourglass cannon or a luxurious tower with a spinning top. Both options include thrilling accessories such as a weapons rack, a potion station and a magical book. Plus figures: the Sandman, Never Witch, Izzie, Mateo, Logan, Sneak and fantasy animal figures: a giant spider and bird.My stepgranddaughter (14) who has special needs loves the tv series and LEGO sets. I remember buying her first Lego set when she was 7 and she took to it like she'd played with it all her life. She hadn't even seen Lego before then. I ordered this set for her. She is going to scream with excitement when she sees it.

Still The Best
Lego has pulled off the incredible trick of appealing to children as well as adults with an obsessive following from all ages. This is rightly so because they make superb construction toys and sets aimed at all ages with many being a crossover which can be an important family thing. This is one of those sets. When I say crossover I mean there is an age when a child is into Lego but perhaps needs bit of help or encouragement but is still well able to do the set with this input. In some ways this is my favourite era because I have five grandchildren two of whom are about the correct age for this set but like granddad to be there to assist where required. I'm all in on that to be honest. The twin grandchildren I have are eight and whilst not obsessive Lego fans they are happy to create with me and for me that makes my life just a bit happier. To be honest if your child is really into Lego then this would be well doable from six or seven years old but if like my grandchildren they are occasional users then it works as a means to give yourselves time together. The set itself is part of the Dreamz series which I believe is aimed at children's imagination and I guess it is a bit weird. A sort of fantasy/sci-fi crossover thing that designed to tap into a young child's enthusiasm for the oddball stuff that makes up their inner world. I think it works and the set when completed does make a great shelf sculpture. With a few of them you would have a cool setup, really.Which, brings me onto the thing about there are two builds in the box. There are but will it be actually done? When I was young back in the 70's as soon as something was built it was taken down to be made into something else. Today that's not the case because Lego make the finished item so appealing it's not likely to be disassembled and made into something else, which is a shame. Of course if your child does really pick up on Lego and becomes a sort of hobby builder then this set does offer some unique parts that can feed into that.Minifigs are of course mandatory and these are pretty cool ones. So much so my wife who loves Minifigs looked at them with some envy.Price? Well, Lego is expensive and probably more than it needs to be but, regardless of the other manufacturers out there making compatible stuff at far less cost, there is something ineffably good about Lego that justifies the cost.Overall, a pretty good set especially if like me you can 'help' your kids/grandchildren....
