I’ve been slow to jump on the turmeric bandwagon. Although the health properties of turmeric have been known for some time, I’m always a little suspicious when a particular supplement suddenly becomes the new thing. However, in all my reading, I do believe that it will have some benefit for me and so I am trying this Bronson version. The formulation looks to be optimal, based on my reading. The combination of turmeric and ginger is recommended by many health experts and/or gurus, depending on who you listen to, but the medical studies do show benefits for both. It’s also clear that turmeric is not well absorbed without the added black pepper extract so that is why this one looked like a good choice. (Bronson appears to have done their homework.) ;)When trying any new supplement, I believe people should ease into it, particularly ones which have the ability to disrupt digestion. I started taking these only a few days ago but I have started with a low-dose and so far, so good. I suspect the ginger helps with any potential stomach upset but I have not had any issues and my stomach can be a little sensitive so that is a great sign! so far I have not noticed any changes in my health or pain levels (mild arthritis) but I wouldn’t expect to this early. I will try to revisit this review in the future to report on any changes.One last thing: the capsule size is easy to manage. I am not good with pills so finding ones that are easier to swallow is always a plus.
