I READ THE REVIEWS ABOUT IT STINGING WHEN USED. I JUST THOUGHT MAYBE THEY HAD SENSITIVE SKIN. STUPID ME PURCHASED IT ANYWAYS AND THE FIRST TIME I USED IT ON MY GRANDCHILD SHE MADE A HORRIBLE FACE AND TRIED TO GRAB HER PRIVATE. I WASNT 100% SURE IT WAS THE SPRAY. I USED IT ONE MORE TIME AND SOON AS I SPRAYED IT SHE SCREAMED BLOODY MURDER. I HURRIED AND WASHED IT OFF. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS. GO WITH THE REVIEWS. IT SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE SHELF.

So, the spray application is very convenient, but some babies don't like the sensation of being sprayed, so keep that in mind! It's definitely less mess on your hands for on the go application. However, because it is thinner (being a spray) it's also a thinner application and some babies really need a heavier cream, so YMMV. Ultimately it might be a personal preference thing! It works for us in a pinch to prevent rash.
