Well written to be understood.

The authors do a great job of explaining the history of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, the different time lines of history, examples of healing, and how we personally can become emboldened to act out in God’s power in order to serve, heal and evangelize.

Well written, easy to follow & comprehend. This is at the top of my list of many similar writtings. I highly recommend it.

This one is a keeper and will be read again and again.

This book is exactly what this world needs right now. As a Catholic I love the fact that there is a leading scripture scholar in the Catholic Church writing alongside a leading Protestant Pastor to speak in one voice the necessity of evangelizing the world. I find the teachings, specifically around the Catholic Church are solid and are found in the Church's tradition. Mainly because they use saint quotes to confirm the use of the gifts throughout the millennia. I recommend this book to any Catholic who wants to learn more about the Charisms, but might be afraid of wrong Theology. This book is solid and Dr. Mary would never agree to something that is heretical.

Probably the best. Balanced book i have read on the subject.Also a great ecumenical bridge. For protestants, this will help you understand the Catholic perspective and where they are coming from.
