Just what I needed
Full of helpful info and tips makes using blender easy

Published in 2024 but contains reference images from very old blender versions

Old content for 2024. Lazy and disappointing.
The content of this book is old, very old. It's 2024. We're now on Blender 4.1.x and a lot of content in this book is useless for the latest versions, Version 2 was so long ago. The images used in the book show how old and dated it is and are very are low quality, and at times, grainy and/or blurry. Many of the sections of this book show features that are no longer available or have been moved to different areas of Blender. New Blender 4.x features are also missing from this 2024 updated version. The author was either lazy, or it was just republished for the coin. Not good at all.

Great book, would recommend to anyone learning blender.
Fantastic learning tool so far. This is meant for people learning blender from the start or who have some semblance of another program's training.

This is a new book over $50 and had a crease in the cover and dog eared pages. I like my new books to be new.

this is a very good book. the way it breaks down the learning process and lets you learn at your own pace. is very good.

This author provides helpful insight into Blender features and how to use them.
Have purchased two earlier versions of Blender for Dummies with Jason Van Gumster as author, 2009 Irst Edition and 2015 3rd Edition. I would have to wait approximately one year to review this book after spending the time going through the examples as a hobbyist with personal interest in Blender. My review here is primarily based on past experience with this author's writings. Find these books helpful in learning the ever changing features in Blender and how to use them.
