Three stars because it worked halfway. We have both iPhone and Android phones and this adapter works flawlessly with Android but we were not able to get it to work very well every time with the iPhone. It does exactly as it advertises, I no longer have to worry about plugging my phone in because I use a wireless charger. So when I put my phone on the mount and turn my truck on it's automatically connecting to Android Auto.

small, compact, easy to install. took all but 2 minutes to get it working. installed it on my Aqura 2021 and Samsung s21 Ultra in less than it took me to drive out of my garage.Setup: plugged it into my car, made sure my WiFi and Bluetooth on my phone were on. looked for and found the new AutoKit_xxx device, paired it and I was done. Display and response time looks and feel like Realtime response. Now I have a wireless Android Auto in my Car.I can access all google features vai voice, and the show on my Car display.

While most vehicle tethers for Android Auto and Apple Car play only provide link to one or the other, this one allows connection to both! And while doing so, does it very well. And it allows connectivity to either one fast and secure.The Car link kit 5.0, connected to my Dodge RAM without hesitation and after a couple of presses, allowed me to select wireless functions to Android or Apple as quickly as my vehicle allowed. And as the Uconnect system of dodge has wired access for these, it tends to have a lag free, secure functionality. And when this box is connected, there is no loss of quality of connectivity. Stable and strong, even several feet away from the vehicle.I'm actually quite impressed with this particular module and think it an excellent bang for the buck

So, I got my hands on this CarPlay Wireless Adapter, and while it does what it's supposed to, the price is a bit of a shocker. Even after a discount, it's over a hundred bucks, which feels steep when there are alternatives out there for nearly half the cost.Honestly, it's not a must-have at full price. If you're hunting for a deal, you might want to keep looking. There's better value to be had elsewhere in the CarPlay adapter game.

First, the instructions are extremely simplified. For some odd reason they deleted the password from the instruction book, so when you initially set up the WiFi for the dongle on your phone, you're faced with a 'Enter Password' field, but they haven't actually put one in the instruction manual. After searching, I was able to find out online, but that's something that really should have been in the manual.After that step, they have you go to an i.p. address to check for updates...this step just felt really sketchy to me, if I'm being honest, however the dongle did change colours from purple to green during this process, and then 'updated successfully'....regardless of this, my car never brought up the option to start a wireless car play, and in fact did not notice my phone at all. I suspect that this may be that there are two different phones used in my car, one Android and one Apple, regardless, I did not have the option for either.So it did not work for my purpose, and now I'm somewhat concerned about whatever software my phone was 'updating'.

I was using another brand, and it was a headache due to constant disconnection, with this one the connection was immediate and totally stable.For me, setting it up was truly “plug and play”, it worked flawlessly. I just plugged the adapter into my car's USB port, connected it to my phone via Bluetooth, and within seconds, I had wireless Android Auto on my car's screen. The automatic connection feature is particularly handy, making it a set-it-and-forget-it solution.Overall, this adapter has made my driving experience much more enjoyable and hassle-free. Whether I'm listening to music, navigating, or using other features, they work exactly as intended. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade to wireless Android Auto.

I was looking to add in Apple carplay wireless to my car, and this fit the bill perfectly.Not too expensive, easy to install, and easy to hide out of sight. The performance it technically really nice, and sounds really good, has a little bit more lag than I was expecting.To be completely fair, I think that any wireless carplay is going to have a little bit of lag - but I was hoping for 0% out of this separate purchaseI think that if you have realistic goals, this is the perfect addition to your car carplay, and I really do recommend it.
