These are great to catch fruit flies and sometimes normal flies. You can change the light from the purplish to an orange tint. I also like them at night because they act as Night Lights. I have them in all the time. These are a definite, definite purchase! 👍

We had what we thought was an outbreak of gnats so I found these zappers on line. They are so easy to use and easy to see the bugs they attract. We ended up having under ten gnats but those pesky creatures were gone in two days. Haven’t gotten any more since then. I placed them in three different places in the house. They work great!

I bought a few different kinds of this type of product. One didn’t work at all (I think the sticky pads weren’t sticky enough), but the others seemed to have one thing about them that made them stand out.I like this one best in the “overall” category. It’s the sleekest, inoffensive, two light options, nice touch control, and it WORKS… for very very small bugs. It won’t, or has not in my experience, catch regular flies or regular sized moths (lots of itty baby ones), or even really regular mosquitoes (again, it does seem to get the adolescents).This is a small plug-in with a moderate light. I’ve learned that the bigger it is and the brighter the light, the more and bigger bugs you will get.So, if you do have tiny fruit flies, very small (like tiny) moths or little flies from having plants like I did, this will work.IMO, not exceedingly great for mosquitoes and definitely not regular flies.Don’t know if it’s true like another reviewer said that the whole unit needs to be replaced every month due to the light?That’s a dealbreaker for me.

For some reason, we have mosquitos in our upstairs. We don't have any sitting water or anything that should be attracting them. That said, we got these to try to deter them. Unfortunately, these don't seem to work great. They do say that they work better if people aren't in the room, but they are set up all night when we are out of the room, and we still seem to have some mosquitos. I was definitely hoping for a good solution, but this does not seem to be it.

I still can't figure out where they're coming from but I just plugged this into the wall near my cat water fountain that also emits a blue light (so disgusting to see 30+ dead bugs floating in the water when I change it out eww my poor kitty cats!). I unplugged the fountain and put it away for this to work and whoa, look at all the bugs it caught in just 5 minutes! And the blue light is very pretty at night. I highly recommend!!

If lights are on you must be close to see its light. Only shines on the wall. Got lots of tiny insects.

This product works very well for my family in the kitchen. It is great for catching nats and other small insects. I just check the back side periodically to change the sticky plastic out.

I was a bit skeptical about the effectiveness of this product, but I most pleasantly surprised to see how well it works. I have been dealing with a moth infestation and nothing has worked as well as this. Not only that, but I ordered two more for other rooms in my house.
