This was even better that I expected. The photos for the 27" showed different brackets than what was on my grill. All the other sizes showed a bracket that I had always used. I decided to purchase it and if the brackets that came didn't work I'd used my old ones. The brackets that came were exactly like what I needed. Very happy. The quality of the material is very good. I expect this to last me for several years before needing to be replaced.

Great replacement. Works better than the original. Was easy to install. Grill works as well as you could ask for.

I think this telescoping ash pan is well made, and it is the only one I could find here that accommodates the 34" that I needed for my grill. The steel seems of good quality, but there is one minor downside to the ash pan but is easily remedied: it's been painted. I made a large fire of charcoal to burn off the paint before using it to grill food, lest my food come off tasting like petrochemicals. You can smell the paint burning off, and it's rather noxious.

Not a direct replacement for the ashpan on a Char Griller model 1224. New hangers are the wrong size, and weak. Keep your old hangers and bend them slightly at the ends to fit.

This was a great replacement option for my Charbroil grill when the original one finally rusted out after years of use! Perfect fit, functions as it should and it holds up very well. It is easy to remove to empty or clean it up!

Better Quality than the Original Ash Pan..Very solid, not flimsy at all and is heavy for an ash pan...

I used this to replace the coal grate on my Char-Broiler Outlaw charcoal grill. fits perfect and much sturdier than the original that came with the grill.
