Im not sure what gap you mean or why your asking, but 've had 2 of these on my patio for 6/7 months with no water getting in. No bugs either... but I do spray around it.

Any cover suggestions that are tall enough for the keter denali 200 gallon deck box?

I'm not aware of a cover for the Keter Denali 200 gallon. Not sure why it would be needed, but one could be made by sewing vinyl or canvas to fit. Anyone with a heavy duty sewing machine could make.

Why is the difference between the exterior & interior height 10 inches?

I think they may have mixed up height and width at one point. It seems corrected now, difference between interior and exterior only about 2" for each dimension.
