Having read the previous reviews about how after using, people were finding themselves covered in blue fibers, I purchased these with eager anticipation. As the wife ran her bath I waited eagerly in the bedroom ,forty year old teenage fantasies about smurfette instantly recalled from memory... you cannot imagine the disappointment that overtook me as she waltzed into the bedroom with not a single blue fiber on her body... oh she raved about how luxurious the towel was and how absorbing it was but all I could see was another fantasy being dug into it's own grave.So four stars for actually being a quality towel at a budget priceI knocked a star off due to the bitter heartache it gave me

When I first used the towels, there were microfibres deposited all over my hands, face, and head. Three washes later and the towels are still leaving microfibres (see pic). This is especially troublesome when washing hands prior to putting contact lenses in. On numerous occasions (before I stopped using the towels) I got fibres on the contact lenses and in my eyes. If you have a shaved head with a couple of days growth (as I have) or a couple of days beard growth, these towels are a disaster. The hair acts as tiny hooks pulling out the fibres. When I first got the towels I managed to go to work with black fibres all over my head. It goes without saying but these towels are far from recommended and have been relocated to drying my dog when coming in from the rain.

I read some bad reviews and was a bit hesitant on this purchase but I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting super thin towels that would shed (as per some reviews) but they're perfectly fine for a normal shower or bath towel. It's more absorbant after a good wash! It you're looking for something more luxurious then you should be prepared to spend more money. This was a great value for a good product and I would most certainly buy it again.

Misleading product image shows 2 bath towels and 2 face towels, and showed up when I was looking for bath towels exclusively.I bought this thinking it was 2 bath towels with 2 face towels added on, but in reality i was ordering just the face towels. They made this thw default choice likely because it shows up as cheaper on search results.Even when you have 2 face towels selected, the product images show the combined pack of face AND bath towels.Feel cheated in that regard, but the towels themselves are good quality, but beware and check that you're getting the right product you want.

I bought these in July 2017 but thought I’d wait awhile before commenting. They are thicker than I expected for a basic item, are a good size, wash well, have not faded, are soft, and more than nine months on - are still as good as new. I have had no issues with shedding but I’ve noticed that those people who have, purchased the bath size. I’m just about to buy some more in a different colour. They lose a star only because I would have liked some more choice of colour and pattern ... but that’s me being picky!

Arrived same day as part of the Prime subscription. They were nicely packed in its own wrap.I gave some time to review these as i read before about colour fading etc.They are really nice colour (Navy option) and after about 8 was he cycles, respecting the tag suggested temperature they have remained as Navy as they were the first day.These are thick and of expected length as per description. The body towel could be bigger but to my taste although a big fella, I dont want a sheet I want a towel that will dry sooner than later. If you need a towel to bath and then use it to go cook and watch a boxset maybe you look something bigger.Happy so far with all Amazon essentials.

Very disappointed, I bought this "Fade Resistant Towel Set" in black a few days ago as I needed some extra towels in the house. I had washed and dried them and proceeded to take a shower, after finishing and drying myself with the towel I had noticed it had left black fluff/lint on my body. This was really annoying as it started irritating my skin (especially near my eyes), as result I wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing this product. Your're better off spending slightly more and purchasing an Egyptian cotton set instead - 1/5 stars.

I wasn't expecting much of these but I was so wrong. They are fabulous for the price you pay. I don't know if the colour runs as I washed them with a navy blanket, but after just the one wash they are absorbent enough to begin using them after a shower. I've never had towels like that before and was expecting to have to wash them at least a few times. They are also very soft. A lovely shade of royal blue, very dark but not quite navy, and the perfect size for me - despite being labelled as hand towels, they are bath towels by my reckoning and the same size as all bath towels I have ever had. Couldn't be happier with these.
