Nice little power supply that looks well built
For the price it was worth the gamble to go for a completely unknown brand. When I got it it looked decent enough. It works fine. The fan being 50mm is average loud, definitely not silent. I opened the cover and I was pleasantly surprised by the very good build quality. You set the voltage and current limit digits by clicking and turning where a click goes to the next digit. I am very impressed so far. Would love to see higher voltage versions when these get cheaper. All I am missing is a ground connection. By the way, the cover is grounded, less that 0.1 ohm. If you are thinking of one, it's a yes from me.

Good little PSU for home use.
I bought this little power supply for home and hobby use. The unit functions well, seems reliable, and the output voltage (which I have checked) is both stable and acceptably accurate. It is not to be compared with laboratory standard instruments but they cost much much more. The display is clear and adjustments are simple and logical. In use, there is a certain amount of noise from the internal cooling fan and this fan is not regulated - that's to say, it runs all the time, regardless of the actual temperature inside the unit. Conclusion: good for the price point, recommended.

Variable dc volts at the turn of a knob.
I bought this to try my hand at nickle plating, it works well.

Noisy
Too noisy, not suitable to power audio circuits.

Christmas tree saver
Am using this to power my 7.5ft GE Christmas tree whilst looking for a replacement plug and contol unit which i didnt know was faulty till i had decorated whole tree and switched on,as the tree is useless without it, the fan constantly runs but is not loud and with all the other sounds in house is not noticeable, very small and build quality is very good will use for other things, so glad I bought it,price is cheap, compared to buying another prelit tree, has got me out of trouble .Highly recommended,

Works, but some strange behaviour when powered up
I bought this for some experimentation with different circuits. It gets the job done, is adequate for supplying the right voltage if the circuit is left unconnected until a little after the button's pressed and it's powered up. Also can't go wrong with the lower price compared to others. However, would advise against powering up with a complete circuit when using sensitive components, even at low voltages. When testing with n mosfets, it keeps breaking them at the point it's turned on and ramping up the voltage. This has happened at 5v and 24v for IRFZ44Ns connected between drain/source. I'm not experienced with electronics, and don't have an oscilloscope, but it's a simple circuit that to my knowledge (and my multimeter's) should be working fine. Furthermore, a fixed power supply at the same voltage does not break my n mosfets when put in the exact same circuit, so I have to conclude that it's the power supply causing the issue. I think the main cause is that because it's variable, the voltage in this ramps up. Maybe some kind of voltage/current spike when the supply is turned on (voltages are certainly fine when tested with a multimeter after it's been running for a few seconds)? Or maybe the fixed supplies I tested it against have better circuitry in place that counteracts any bad decision making on my part. Not entirely certain, what I can say is it's breaking my components at the point it's turned on where other power sources aren't, so if using sensitive components maybe make sure to only complete the circuit once it's fully powered up and the voltage/current readings have stabilised a bit (Or use some extra component like a zener diode to protect your mosfets - this worked in my case).
