Labello Hydro Care Lip Balm 4.8 g

Cycling in the high mountains in France is wonderful but the lips will take a beating if not protected. Whether it's the bright sun, dry air, or crazy high speeds while descending, I don't know. I do know I was in panic mode when I couldn't find my Avon lip balm which I brought with me from the States. My lips were already starting to crack. Finding a Carrefour market, I pantomimed opening and applying lip balm. The clerk led me to Labello. Perfect combination of moisture and protection. Some of the other brands go on too dry. Labello just glides over the lips. Although I couldn't find another store to buy more before I left France, I was happy to find the product available on Amazon. Best. Stuff. Ever.

This is the best brand I've tried, and I've tried more than I wish to count. Labello Hydro Care is my favorite in their product line, and there are quite a number of them. It goes on very sheer, never waxy or goopy: probably because it does not contain any petroleum products. I've never seen this brand in stores, so you'll have to order it through Amazon. I gave a tube to my son, who is away at college, and he asked me to order another tube for him. I yhink you'll find this to be the best available.

Normally love Labello original (dark blue tube) and purchased this expecting greater hydration since that is how it is marketed. Somewhat to my surprise I didn't find this to work any better than the original, and may even be a little less emollient which was not great for my winter dry lips. I am going back to the original but really love the pale blue tube and may get this again in summer.

Was no one put off by the lack of packaging with this product? Just a tube with a homemade label on it? Yuck.

I bought this brand while in Europe and I loved and savored it. Just as it was running out I was able to find it here on Amazon. This is a gentle lip balm that is not waxy or rough to put on. If you have sensitive skin, this is very gentle and effective. So glad to have found it again! I bought it in multiple flavors - all are great but this is still my favorite.

Not any fault of the seller, but the item didn't seem that good for me at least. I have to find a perfect lip balm brand that suits me....any ideas?

Classic Care is so much more hydrating than this one.
