The VanGuard 2 is a minimalist IWB holster. Unlike traditional IWB holsters, the VG2 covers only the trigger guard of your weapon. This unique design eliminates the bulk of a traditional holster, while providing a level of safety and security not attainable by simply sticking a pistol in the waistband of your pants. The VanGuard 2 can be used multiple ways: First, it can be used (without the lanyard or the overhook) as a trigger guard cover for storage and transportation safety. This prevents foreign objects from finding their way inside the trigger guard and potentially pressing the trigger, while still allowing the slide to be cycled and the magazine released. This gives users the ability to clear the weapon without the danger of a negligent discharge. Next, it can be used with the static-line tether for on-body (IWB) or off-body carry (such as inside a bag, purse, briefcase, vehicle console, etc). This allows the weapon to be safely carried with a chambered round without fear of a negligent discharge, while still being rapidly deployable. The holster can also be removed by catching the nose of the holster and prying it off. This allows one-hand deployment of the weapon even if the tether or attachment point fails to remove the holster. Finally, the user can attach the overhook to create a stable, secure, IWB holster. The complete system is fully adjustable for ride-height and cant, is tuckable for maximum concealment, and fully ambidextrous.

Does the job of securing the trigger.
Solid retention, maybe too much.Wish it was offered with a wide clip, the one provided feels like it's going to snap one day. It also allows the weapon to tilt forward. If you prefer a cant then maybe that's a good thing.You'll need a thick solid belt to retain the holster on the draw.

I have try many holster. This one is the best. Very comfortable inside ur waistband, sometimes i forgot that it's there. I have ordered the same kind of holster from Q series and i wasnt happy it it. This one solves all the problem that i have with the Q series, very secure, easy to take it in and out to reposition.

Ordered from the main website came in fast. This little holster is the best to me i hate inside the waistband holsters they feel uncomfortable to me and not natural so i uselessly carry a small lcp but i wanted a new carry thats a better fit for my hand im 6'2". I ordered the stealthgear holsters to the slim Kydex holsters. Did not like them. This raven holster will not add extra material to your pistol but keeps it locked in place . . . If you want to know how it feels to use this just unload your weapon then just stick it in places around your waist that's what it feels like

Comfortable and well designed
Only owned for about 2 week now and seems to be firm/solid on the trigger guard. I actually wore it around for a couple days without one in the chamber just to gain some mental confidence on it's reliability. I have the Clipdraw belt clip on my G43 that I've been using for months (and it's still installed for optional use), but this trigger guard holster is just as comfortable but I can now keep one in the chamber and I can also get a better hand purchase on the G43 since it's now so deep in the waste band. It's perfect if you don't mind your gun getting a little sweaty sometimes. The hook of the clip is well designed (time will tell for durability, but suspect it'll hold up), and it's easy to unhook along with the pistol and end of the day or otherwise.
