super lightweight , very easy to move, but strong. the sponge on the bars is good too.

This is sold as being able to store three kayaks - because of the poor design of the bottom bars room is wasted and therefore you have to squeeze the three kayaks onto it. Wouldn’t bother me usually but this is being sold as a three kayak rack and it just isn’t.

Presumably the dimensions of the rack are as advertised but it is not big enough for 3 of my canoes and it is a bit flimsy. So I am going to make a rack out of wood, rather than buy a second rack as I had envisaged.

Received and put together recently with an aim of storing kayaks in the basement during the winter. So I haven’t yet subjected the rack to a full load. Only one of the four boat positions is in use so far. With that caveat, here are my impressions. The rack arrived well packaged with no parts missing or damaged. In fact, there were one or two extras of some of the smallest parts (washers, nuts, bolts). The assembly instructions were good — some further detail would have improved them but they were easy enough to follow. The parts went together without difficulty and the end result seems to be a sturdy rack that should meet my needs. As I won’t be using it outside, it’s ability to withstand the effects of weather aren’t a concern for me. It might or might not be good in this regard. I just don’t know. What I do know is that you need metric tools (sockets, wrenches) to put it together, which isn’t specified anywhere that I saw. I’m glad I had them, as I would have been pretty frustrated otherwise.

Perfect for our canoes, etc. Nice and sturdy. Use vice grips for the locknuts and it’s a breeze to build.

Excellent and well manufactured. Using it inside the garage during the summer and the backyard during the winter.

It was easy to assemble. It’s sturdy and stable. Our tandem is on the bottom. Large fishing kayak in the middle. Room for the small one on top. Plus our oars. Very happy with it.

Easy to assemble. Classy. Almost perfect value. Shortcoming, the rubberized arm protection does not stand up to much movement of a kayak. I cannot see the protection lasting a season. Not that important to me.
