The wave fins, rather the curly fins, are extremely effective.in warming up the room. Very cosy. This is the smallest OFR available, and it warms up my bedroom of size 12 feet x 15 feet, that too at Low thermostat level. Very energy efficient indeed. The PTC fan is good, working quite well. PTC fan is made of ceramic disks, that switch off when hot. Will update after using. Just used the PTC fan, it's awesome. In 15 minutes the room was so hot, had to switch it off. The noise level is very low, almost inaudible. It's value for money. Thermostat is at half way. यह OFR मैने खरीदा था तीन महीने पहले, दिवाली sale में, 7371 रुपए का। उस वक्त तो गर्मी थी, चला कर देख नहीं पाया। अब चला रहा हूं, तो अच्छा काम कर रहा है। Very comforting in this extreme cold. There appears to be no danger of fire, as nothing is burning, neither an electric element heating up. Hence it is a safe product.

The product is great but Amazon delivered 11 fin oil heater instead of 13 fin oil heater. That’s the only disappointment I have. I can’t change it as I realized it late.

9 fin is too weak, it can't even provide basic heating. Forget about the room heating, it can't even give you heat when you are just sitting in front of it. It's complete waste of money. You guys should go for minimum 13 fin!! MY rooom is small, basic bedroom. We turn in on for 2 hours, and it failed completely to heat up the room. The level of watt consumption it does and amount of heat it provides is not justificable. I was regretting so much as there was no return or replacement available for this product. Replacement is available but that has conditions saying only if damaged and wrong product is received. After hours of negotiations with Amazon customer support, they finally accepted for refund. I love amazon service!! Amazon is the best e-commerce market. The support was unimaginable, I thought the money has gone into vain, but amazon came up as life saviour!!

1) Quality- the heater is solidly built, well finished. Materials used are of superior quality 2) Functioning- the heater works effectively and heats up our room in 20-25minutes. A life saver in winter season especially if you have old age people or young kids with you. The multiple heating levels make for an energy efficient heater. In the winters of North India you would easily be able to maintain room temperature at around 25-26 Celsius on medium setting. 3) Portability- the heater, though a bit on the heavier side, comes equipped with wheels and a handle that make it easy to carry it around in the house. The sleek design allows the heater to be placed in corners of the room. 4) Value for money- Given the heating capabilities we feel this heater is value for money. 5) Safety- the heater is much safer than conventional filament heaters as there is no open heating components. The only thing to avoid is touching the fins of the heater when it is operational.

Awesome product ...... Chote bache ke liye very usefull hai ...... normal bhi loge bade kamre ke liye to bhi sahi rahata hai .......kamra band rahana chahiye bss

The product is better than the mechanical / analogue version of room heater in the sense, you can read and set a particular room temperature. This comes with additional timer-control which helps you auto-shut down after a given time. Thermostat is common in both the models that helps save the bucks by cutting off the heater operations when the temperature reaches the threshold, but manual and instructions were at least readable with this version. The mechanical version had a tiny card which was extremely hard for me to read. Not sure if there was another which Amazon guys might have forgotten to deliver. Haven't used product much because Amazon delivered an open-item and used product, most probably returned by some other user, and it had parts missing. No U-Clamp, no clamping screws, no cloth-hanger etc. so I don't count it a negative factor for the product, but yes, be careful of amazon because they make the life hell when you want to raise a request for replacement or want a refund because of lack of services and reliability from Amazon. It was a Amazon-delivered product, no third party involved, and I was given a used and returned product when I placed the order of brand new. On top of that, I was bluntly denied any option to return or replacement though it was all Amazon's fault in ensuring the product was complete before dispatching it to the customer. And sending an open item box after re-sealing it with Amazon tape is really wrong. Amazon seriously needs to think about building up the brand-reputation and reliability by having stringent quality checks and processes in place because product goes through multiple parties and multiple hands before reaching the customer. It is amazon's responsibility to ensure it delivered what customer ordered and that it is not been manipulated/opened anywhere. Average rating given by me is for the reason that this product can work best in a sealed room when considering the winter in north India, Delhi. It does not have a PTC Fan (which obviously takes additional load of 400 watts) to help circulate the warm air in the room. Obviously, the oil heater is doing its task to radiate the heat in the room but to feel it, and keep the room warm, you need to isolate the room from winter-currents so that heat does not dissipate and keeps the room warm. The maximum temperature that you can set is 35 degrees Celsius, which I feel is enough for a mid size / normal size bedroom. Pros* * Very Silent * Effective room heating for a mid / normal size isolated bedroom * Thermostat to auto-cut off after threshold temperature is reached (just like geysers) * Since it does not have a direct heating element exposure and it does not radiate intense heat waves through reflectors, no extra lights flashing in the room while sleeping and it does not cause headaches because of exposure to heat-waves or facing the radiator directly, if the heater is kept nearby. Cons* * Cost - I feel it is a bit on higher side when you can get the same heating in lower price through alternate products. Use of smart plugs can give you the same timer effect also still you will be able to save 3-5k on it. * Power and Time-hog ! It is meant to be switched on early and then to be kept online through out the night, if you want to maintain the room temperature. It will auto-start heating and auto-cut off as and when the temperature threshold is breached. Do not expect an instant heating effect like you would see in some other cheaper models. * No Amazon support for replacement if needed, and they may ship a returned item re-sealed with amazon tape. * Need to have a 16 Amp plug with proper wiring to bear the load. Old sockets and lines may not be able to tolerate this much load on a longer time frame but this is equally applicable for any other heater in 2KWh+ category. * The remote has button cell. It is designed to keep it slim and handy so that it can be placed easily within the reach while sleeping, but button cells in itself become a problem for replacement when needed. * The cloth hanger - nice idea but do we really need it? And why would anyone pay thousands of bucks extra in the name of such a useless accessory? The only potential benefit and use of it I can consider is that you may use it to remove the extra dryness in the room. You hang a almost dry but most cloth near the heater with the help of the cloth hanger and it will release moisture in the room to save you from extra dryness. Obviously, it is not meant to be a Washing machine dryer to dry your laundry. You can also put a vessel filled with water in the room and it will also do the same thing, or keep any indoor room plants in the room that will help maintain the moisture and also oxygen to some extent during the day time.

It was not 11 fin so it is in return process. It was 9 fin
