Probably the best tea I have ever tried
Wow! Probably the best tea I have ever tried. After doing a little research before ordering and learning that this tea is made with buds and first leaves I imagined it would taste like Baihao Yinzhen (Silver Needle White Tea) that had been through a Black tea oxidation process. Being a lover of white tea I was not disappointed; with an overwhelmingly fruity/honey/peachy aroma (some say it's got a cocoa hint and I would agree with that if you let it steep a little longer) this tea stands out as an almost mythically good brew.I have little doubt of this being the first flush either as the quality is superb, predominantly composed of plump pale blonde buds with little hints of dark oxidation.

Beautiful Leaves, Good customer care
dry leaves: golden with darker long leaves. Thin leaves but big leavesSmell: strong sweet, fruity, woodyLiqour: thin to medium, copper in colour, fruity taste rounded, chocolate undertone. 3rd brew, still fruity taste (peach) 4-5 gram per 100 ml 90-95 degree water, 25 sec then +10They sent me lot of information about the different types of tea in pdf, about their brewing, origin etc. It is like 110 pages. I am very pleased with the tea, and their way of looking after the customer.

Delicious smokey flavour. Loved it when it is brewed for a couple of minutesBest thing is you can add some milk but this tea is better without milk and needs nothing more added to it

BUT - very expensive only can be bought 100g at a time
A very lovely Lapsang free of that kippery taste, but to buy 500g would cost me a whacking great £85 because I have no choice but to buy it in 100g bags - at an enormous cost of £17! Come on suppliers, make this tea available in 500g and 1 Kg bags but at DISCOUNT PRICING. It's just so unfair.

Disappointed
I made my tea this morning and it was awful and not lapsang suchong. It doesn’t smell or taste like lapsang. I will not be buying from this company again. I have had lapsang from other sellers and have been really pleased. This stuff has Lapsang Suchong black tea on the label.

Nice, but not worth the price
Nice enough tea, but the price must be due to the manufacturing costs of producing the pearls. I wouldn't dream of buying any again - I'll stick to the "un-pearled" excellent teas from the same area that cost a fraction of the price.
