Ideal Teaching Device
This collection of replica denarii consists of 12 such coins from the first 12 caesars of Rome, Julius to Domititian. The size (about 18 mm diameter), thickness (about 1.7 mm thick) and colour (silver) are realistic. The original denarius weighed about 4.5 grams which was 1/72nd of a Roman pound and always included a portrait of the reigning caesar. A very brief history of each of the 12 caesars is also included. The denarius was the most widely traded coin in the Roman empire and was worth about the wages of a farm worker for a day during the early first century. This set makes a valuable teaching device for first century Roman history and Biblical studies.

The 12 Caesars of Seutonius
These are the coins of the 12 Caesars written by Seutonius. I will make a shadow box with them and hang them over my desk.

Quality replicas
Museum quality replicas made with lead free metal alloy. They look pretty much exactly as they mightve appeared back in the Roman times. My only problem with it was that they are a tad bit too thin, but its not a huge problem.
