I have painted the routed word with a Bright Pink exterior paint. It then was sanded down and finished with a Boiled Linseed Oil sealer. I will send this sign with screws and a pre-drilled 15 1/2 inch tall stick. The sign is 10 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2 inches tall. This garden sign should last you many years, given that you pull them out of the weather during your winter season. *The signs will come to you ready to assemble with 2 simple screws per sign.* **Using the screws will ensure the longevity of your sign, as well as increased shipping safety** ***Please keep in mind your sign may have a different grain of wood than this pictured item, we are working with mother nature here*** ****You will need a phillips standard screwdriver to assemble your sign and a measuring tape to make sure your stake is in the center of the sign.****
