I purchased this item as a thank you gift for a Jane Austen loving person. It was an immediate hit. The mug is nice and smooth and well made. The color changing graphics on the mug are flawless and well done. The mug is a good average size but may not be large enough for those who like a giant cup of coffee in the morning. I would recommend this mug for its quality and the heat changing aspect of the clothing is very cool.

This was purchased as a gift who is a fan of Jane Austen books. I tested it to make sure that the garments change with hot liquid and they do. The transition is gradual so it appears that nothing is happening, then the change occurs. The quality of the ceramic is good and the mug arrived ahead of schedule. Given rising prices these days I don't think it's overpriced considering it's not just an everyday mug.
