I can’t wait to use it

I just received this and am writing this review while only using the putting mat for a short amount of time. I am very happy with this and think it will definitely improve my game with regular use. The mat is a bit less than 10 feet long and about a foot wide. The hole includes an automatic ball return system for made putts. The mat is marked every two feet, so you can practice putts of different lengths. There is a line that shows you the the direct line to the hole and also two border lines that run parallel to the middle one.l I wish they had this on my courses, LOL. The surface material is fairly close to what you have on an actual green so it gives you a good feel for your puts. The bottom is a rubberized surface that stays put on solid surfaces. You can roll the mat up for storage and it doesn't take up much room. My only concern (minor) is the slight elevation to the hole for the ball return as I am afraid it may throw off my feel for a real putt.I am very happy with the putting mat and expect to spend a lot of down time using it.

Some of the product was broken

With some of these types of trainers, the "green" surface takes forever to relax into something useful. This one, once it was unrolled, after a couple hours its good and shows no signs of permanent warping. The putting surface is nice, the ball return works well. The greatest detail is being able to change hole sizes. Huge confidence builder getting used to the larger target, sinking a few and then fine tuning the aim with the smaller, regulation cup. Helped me a lot when I made a drastic putter design change. (And the grandkids enjoy it. Two-fer.)

I only with the mat was rolled up instead of folded. Too many hills on the way to the cup. I assume it will eventually flatten out. Absolutely no instructions. It came with a separate plastic piece that nobody knows what to do with. Some kind of guard rail. No idea,

The two together are less expensive than a new putter that will not help if you do not have the touch. Well worth the investment.

This golf practice mat is a great gift for someone just taking up golf or even a more experienced golfer. Even kids will enjoy playing with it.The golf hole is raised 4 to 6 inches at the end of the eight to nine-foot-long mat, so if you are striking the ball at the far end of the mat from the hole, then you have to hit the ball hard enough to give it enough momentum to climb the hill.You should also practice hitting the ball with just enough momentum for it to slowly hit the center of the mat just before the hill to better simulate the kinds of actual holes that you will face on the golf course. While some golf course holes are raised, most are not, and your golf game will suffer if you hit the ball too hard.It would be nice if the hill could be lowered or raised as desired.

Cheaply made, doesn’t perform like the big name versions. Item was returned.
