The purpose of the Abdominal Compression Board is to flatten the abdominal skin after liposuction, provide compression to help skin reattachment, and to prevent the pooling of fluids in the abdominal area. Our 360 Degree Wrap Around Lipo Foam helps smoothes the skin while being compressed by the abdominal board. The abdominal board will mold and flatten the inflamed tissue during the first 6-8 weeks after surgery. This will promote a flatter, smooth result in the abdominal area. TIPS: Please measure the length and width of your abdominal area. If the measurements are larger than the mid-section area of the board, DO NOT USE! You will cause more harm than good and damage the results of your procedure. The skin in the abdominal region post liposuction is very pliable, inflamed, and subject to dents and creases if the abdominal board used is too small. NEVER USE THE AB BOARD ONLY NOR DIRECTLY ON THE SKIN. LipoFoam should be place around the abdominal area first, followed by the abdominal compression board.
