Mini monster, massively adorable
I bought these off my own registry (thank you completion discount) in both small and large.Small: Blue monster & Fox friendsLarge: Woodland friends 2 packReviewing on all 3.These were on my registry and no one wanted my husband and I to sleep apparently because we didn't get them as a gift. This baby loves swaddling and even though my husband and I figured out the traditional blanket swaddle it turns out we're raising Houdini. In desperation I purchased this swaddle and the Fox friends one in the hopes of getting some sleep after our nightmare of a first night. I can laugh about it a little when I look back 3 months later but my gosh....at the time. First time parents, you'll get it soon.Pros:- Velcro - Super secure Velcro that keeps your baby burrito nice and snug. Again, I'm raising Houdini so my baby is able to squirm and pull his arms up and out now. At first I figured we just needed to size up but now I think he just wants to suck on his hands.- Designs - Mommy's little monster is too cute for words. Definitely my personal favorite. I'm really sad that he's sized out of this one.- Sizing - Even before 23 inches my baby definitely started to size out of this. It started looking like an off the shoulder blanket. Very in but not as secure.- Versatile - Full swaddle, 1 hand out, 2 hands out, it does it all.-Durability - They've lasted a number of cycles through the laundry. The smalls are definitely worn and show it. Quick tip for washing: Attach the Velcro pieces before washing. The Velcro will stick to everything in the laundry. It may take a little longer to dry this way but it'll help you avoid destroying other fabrics that you're washing.Cons:- Velcro - This may actually be the loudest Velcro known to man. Trust me, at 3am it's even louder than you can possibly imagine. We avoid changing his diaper at night anyway because that wakes him up but if we have to it's guaranteed he'll wake up when we undo the Velcro.- No zipper - The only thing that would make this amazing would be a zipper. I feel like they don't put a zipper on this so that you get the other options that are available.Quickest review possible: These will save the family's sleep!

Perfect for keeping fussy sleepers ASLEEP!
This wrapsack has been a game-changer in our sleep-training journey! Our baby, for the first time, stayed asleep during a nighttime diaper change. The leg part of the sack is spacious and perfect for letting them stretch out or bend their knees how they please, without compromising the benefits of swaddling.I also love the option to take his arms out; This wrap will last us much longer than others that only last during their swaddle stage. The reason for 4 stars is the wrap fabric stretches out VERY quickly. You can get maybe two nights before needing to wash and dry to shrink it back to size. Our baby is 15 lbs and the wrap is rather large, so in order to get the swaddle tight enough, the fabric stretched a lot. It will, again, last us a long time as there is much room for growth, but when they’re at the bottom end of the sizing, it’s frustrating to only get a night or two of sufficient swaddles out of one wrap.

Great but huge!
We are huge swaddleme swaddle fans. We had multiple for our daughter and purchased multiple for our son. Our daughter only used the size small swaddles and by the time she grew out of them she wasn't needing to be swaddled anymore and she preferred arms out. So when preparing for our son to arrive I bought 4 small swaddles thinking that would be all we would need. Nope- he grew out of them by 8 weeks to the point where he instantly would break free because we couldn't Velcro them fully. Our solution was this wrap sack. Thinking since he had sized out of the small swaddleme sacks we should purchase these in large and he would fit. Boy were we wrong! These things are huge! To the point where we couldn't wrap him. It was super loose and he would wiggle it up to his face. So we gave up and started swaddling with both arms out. Inconvenient at first since he preferred to still be swaddled arms in but now we are fine. They work great and aren't too warm. I still recommend them but be warned they are huge! Even if your little on sized out of swaddleme swaddles (smalls) don't buy large in these- buy small!

Prefer the "wings" of SwaddleMe Original
I was curious (as many others seemed to be) about the differences between the Love Sack and Wrap Sack, so I ordered both (see photos). The big difference: the Love Sack zips the child into the sack, similar to the Halo SleepSack Swaddle, whereas the Wrap Sack snaps at the top. Both sacks have zippers to allow for easy diaper changes without undoing velcro (which is the main feature I was after).I felt like the neck was a bit small on the Wrap Sack; not hazardously tight, just more snug than ideal. But the real deal breaker is the "arm hole" size and wing style. The arm holes are too high up, so you can't snugly wrap the left wing around and tuck it under your baby like you can with the SwaddleMe Original. It wraps more like the Love Sack, which works the same as a Halo SleepSack Swaddle; the center velcro secures it ok when the kid is nearly growing out of the thing, but if they're on the small side of the weight range the velcro isn't in the right place and they can slip their arms out easily.I ended up opting for the SwaddleMe Original (in a larger size) even though I had to give up the zippered bottom. I just secure the swaddle around her chest to transition to arms out.
