This Dreo pumps out the heat like crazy!! Its built in shut off safety features are great if you have pets or distracted people walking around.. Some people complain about the smell and truth be told its not that bad. Its NORMAL for any heater to give off fumes when its new!!. After about 5-7 minutes of run time the fumes already began dissipating.. Open a window if the smell bothers you for the first time you start the heater..
