Stylish, portable, nicely made wood stringed instrument stand.
I bought this stand for a parlor-sized acoustic guitar. This is the first stand I've bought that fits easily in the pocket of my guitar's gig bag. Construction and looks are amazing for the price. OK...a big metal stand is gonna be more sturdy. But if you set up this guitar stand in a reasonably safe spot, it stays put. Just put your guitar or bass in it's bag, Take three seconds to fold this sweet stand and drop it in it's included storage bag. Put it into your gig bag and you're good to go. Quite happy with my purchase of this Wingo portable wooden folding A-frame stand.

Nice looking way to display your guitar
Nice looking stand, I agree with other reviewers that it could be easily tipped over if bumped. But I keep it in the corner for my acoustic guitar and it works great

Exactly What I Needed!
I really don't have a lot of room, and this helps with that a lot. I just needed something small, that sits in the corner, to hold whatever guitar I'm using (acoustic or electric), and is well made. Mine came with a carrying pouch. I won't use that often, but if I were to bring this with me somewhere, it would be good to have.

Pleasantly surprised, very useful stand
It's not incredibly stable. I mean, a guitar can be pushed over on it or fall if it's bumped into, but it is very compact and looks cool and does the job. It's especially great for acoustics that don't have much weight to them. Folded up, it's a great size to just toss in a case or gig bag. This isn't tall enough or wide enough to be as stable as larger stands, but it's a perfectly functional place to put a guitar when you need to set it down!

Nice looking and performs well
It performs well for an acoustic guitar. The thick body of an acoustic guitar sits in the stand well and it looks nice.

Beautiful portable guitar stand with one flaw
I really like this stand. For one thing, it’s made from mahogany and it’s well designed. It folds up nicely into a very small size and comes with a nice carrying bag. So why not 5 stars? Sadly, there is a design flaw: While the stand is functional, it is not as stable as I had hoped. Oh, it feels pretty solid in front - in other words, it is unlikely one has to worry about tipping it over forwards from the front. But unfortunately, it wouldn’t take much of a nudge to tip it over backwards. It’s a beautiful stand that folds up into a ridiculously small carrying sac, and would be absolutely perfect but for this one, albeit critical issue. Note that it’s still quite usable. The user just has to be careful not to tip it over backwards.

Gorgeous stand
A very functional guitar stand!Pros:- Gorgeous with a nice colour- Comes with a soft, grey cloth bag to carry it in- Small, collapsable, and portable- Rubber on the wood ensures the guitar can't slide off it- Can expand to fit different sized guitarsCons:- Fits my smaller-than-usual guitar well but may be a bit top-heavy and potentially easily tipped with "normal"-sized guitars- There's no rubber on the bottom so the stand can easily slide on the floor rather than be stationary.

WARNING WARNING
This a lovely product and it's sturdy enough and I love the way I can put two in my softshell case to take to a gig. BUT make sure you have L-Cables for your guitars before you take the stand to a gig. A regular cable hits the floor first and prevents the guitar being stabilized in the stand. Which is a shame. Of course L-Cables solve the issue :-)

A nicely made stand, but rather pricey
I’ve tried a number of portable guitar stands over the years, and this is one of the nicer ones I’ve seen. It’s made from sapele wood (a lightweight relative of mahogany), which lends it a wonderfully rich look. The hardware is manufactured from quality metal, and the cradle surfaces are coated with rubber to prevent scratches and improve grip. This is designed to hold electrics, as well as full-size and thin-bodied acoustics. That said, I found the spacing a bit large for my electrics, allowing them to rotate backward (see photo). It’s very lightweight, and I appreciate that the compact design can fold down smaller than many others. You could easily pop this into almost any guitar case, making it perfect for jams and small gigs. The folding action does have a consequence, though. I found one side often didn’t fold out fully when I opened it, leaving it very wobbly (especially with electrics). It only takes a moment to fix, but even when properly set up it still tends to be a bit less stable than I like to see.At $39.98 this is pretty pricey compared to similar stands on Amazon that retail for $10-15 less. It’s an attractive and well-made product, but I think it would be a good idea to shop around a little before making a purchase. My rating: 4 stars
