Well made and has plenty of comfortable hand position

Fits perfectly on my Cannondale Quick hybrid bike. Converting my flat bar hybrid into a gravel bike and this drop bar looks & feels great!

I liked the look - and price- of the SATORI FIREBIRD Gravel Road Bike Aluminum Alloy 8 Degree Flare Drop Bar Bent Handlebar with Integrated Front Extension the very first time I saw it.I have a fair number of bicycles including 3 gravel/cyclocross bikes. I've been wanting to replace the drop bar and stem that originally came equipped on one of them, with a flared drop bar and adjustable stem. I like the flared bars and I want to experiment with different stem angles and heights and see how each feels and performs in various riding terrains and conditions.What drew me to the SATORI FIREBIRD, other than the reasonable price, is the extention on the front and the additional mounting points for bag, computer, map, lights, etc that the extension offers.The construction, welds, finish, and feel of this bar are very-good to great. The weight is moderately light - what I would expect of an aluminum drop bar with extention. I can't wait to get this mounted on my bike and get out riding but the temperatures where I live are currently below zero so I'll be waiting for a short while.I have no doubt that I will like the feel of this bar and look forward to experimenting with used for the extention! I definitely think this is a great quality bar for the price and would readily recommend it to friends and others.

I got these just to give something different a try on my road bike and am surprised at how comfortable the configuration is. The Brake Levers are canted at an angle that allows more of my hand to rest on the lever than just the crook of my thumb, which makes it more comfortable to ride on the levers. The bar is not as lightweight as the "wing top" drop bars I replaced, but it is a more comfortable ride. They are just a little too wide overall...a couple of centimeters narrower would be better for me, but overall, a good bar.

This has a lot of differences compared to the RF bars. The bar width they list is for the drops. The top is much narrower. This makes it so the flare is a lot more severe, making it so the your hoods are angled a lot more than they are in the RS. Also the RS has a 20mm rise, these don't. The "sink" are is wider and shorter. The drops are also a lot more different . The quality is okay. You definitely can feel the difference between the more expensive one. I'm returning this and going to try a different brand that is much more similar to the RS.

I've opted to use three rolls of tape for a complete and comfortable grip, including the integrated front extension, though it does add to the expense.The integrated front extension is a highlight, allowing for a more aerodynamic position. It's a feature that enhances the overall riding experience, especially on longer journeys.In summary, the SATORI FIREBIRD Gravel Road Bike Handlebar is a well-designed, ergonomic option for cyclists. This bar carries all the latest trends as far as drop bars go. Extra wide width? check. Shallow drops? check. Wide flare? check. Extension for attachments? check.I have been wanting to use something like this on my Salsa Journeyer even though I don't do bike packing and this is a perfect bar for that kind of lazy geometry bike. The shallow and wide drops make controlling bike really easy on rough gravel. The flare feels pretty natural while braking too - against my reservations. Mind you, the flare is pretty wild on this one!The build quality seems decent. Welds are smooth and uniform and whole bar is quite stiff. It may be stiffer than I like but it is probably a good thing if you are using it for attaching bags on the extension.Because of the extension on the front taping the bar can me a little confusing and may need a longer tape if you decide to tape the whole thing.Overall I am pretty satisfied with this bar. It may be little too stiff for my liking but I understand where they are coming from. That extension on front serves a specific purpose and because of that this bar is not light. I know on a bike packing rig this is a non-issue but worth noting. For specific needs of attaching luggage at the front, extra lights or basket this bar is a 100% recommendation. If you just need a wide bar, there are plenty others without the extension.
