Nice table, excellent quality, easy to assemble

I admit I was hesitant to order this desk because of the reviews about undrilled wood and rough finishes, but I received a perfect one and I'm delighted with it. It was exactly as described and I put it together in ten minutes – I managed it on my own easily enough despite the weight of the wood, and I'm an elderly woman, so it's a straightforward job.The oak is beautiful – a gorgeous grain and a practical matt finish, and although it's smooth enough for me, some people might prefer it sanded down a bit more. I abandoned my plans for a black veneer desk after trying one out and finding that every finger mark showed, but that's one problem you won't have with this desk. Overall, it's rock-solid and looks a lot more expensive than it is. I've seen oak desks that are identical to this one at twice the price.I was baffled by the two sets of screws and bolts at first, but I assume the screws are for attaching the legs with a different spacing. (Apologies if I've assumed wrong.) I stuck to the pre-drilled holes, which have a metal insert for the bolts. I spend most of the day seven days a week at my desk, so I'm very fussy about the small detail, but this one passed all the tests and already feels like "home." I'd recommend it.

Desk wobbles too much

I have had this desk for about a month. It's everything I wanted it to be, solid wood and very sturdy with minimal wobble. Not 5 stars because the corners and edges of this desk are extremely pointy, the corners could definitely be a safety risk. Luckily, my dad is a carpenter so he will soften the edges and corners for me but just something to keep in mind.

Perfect for what we wanted.

My old desk was ok during lockdown but too small for permanently working from home. So I ordered the 1200 x 500 x 40mm desk, sanded instead of oiled, direct from Domli's website.I was impressed with the quality and it only took a few minutes to put together; just 8 bolts in each leg. I'd recommend this desk to anyone.

This is one beautiful desk. I ordered it directly from the website and got the sanded version as I want to do my own finish (not done yet - this is the natural look of the wood). The oak is beautiful, the metal legs are exactly what I was hoping for - smooth mat finish.The size you see on the pictures is 150 x 50 x 4 cm as I didn't had a lot of space.If you are using a laptop or a small sized monitor I would say that this is enough, but for a big monitor I would recommend to increase the depth. If you go on their website and you order directly from them you can email them and they can cut something to size for you. Not sure if they can do anything you want, but if you buy something ready they can definitely cut it to size for you. I just ordered 60 x 60 x 2.7 cm same oak material and I got it cut to size by them (paid very reasonable price for the service), so I can make an under desk keyboard shelf. I will add it, so I can compensate for the depth I'm missing because of the big monitor.Be aware that this is heavy piece of furniture (150x50x4cm)! I somehow managed to move it to the second floor on my own (I'm a small build), assembled it with a drill on my own, but I needed a second person to help me lift it once the legs were installed. Maybe I was just tiered by that time - I'm not sure, but it definitely going to be easier if done by two people!The customer service has been great - quick and kind response both times I had questions and needed assistance.The delivery was quick. You can also check on a map where exactly your order is (once the item is out for delivery), so you can make plans and not stay home all day waiting as it is with most companies.My overall experience has been great so far.I hope this review can help someone :)
