I got the package a day earlier than the guaranteed delivery date. Inside the clear plastic packaging you get the SSD and two mounting screws. Always consult your device’s documentation on installation instructions, but my laptop was easily user upgradable. This probably won’t satisfy everyone, but to me any bump in performance is an improvement, and because my laptop was going to be my productivity machine at home, it’s more than enough for my needs. The SSD was super fast for what I needed my laptop to do, which includes running office apps, emulating old games, and functioning as my test bench for IT related tasks for school. Very satisfied!P.S. the drive also has 3 LEDs on it. SSD was no longer recognized. Tried solutions found online (power reset method, where you leave it powered on 2 cycles for 30-mins) nothing worked, went back the next day. This was in a Dell M6600, but would apply to any computer that uses MSATA, M6800, M6700, M6400 avoid this and its cousins on here. You can tell it's of low quality by just visiting their website and seeing that there are no firmware updates; nothing more than the same copy on Amazon...
