Good blade.
Good paring knife. It cuts through all my fruit and veggie easily enough. The handle is easy to hold and maintain control of the knife. The blade is strong and will easily cut through even sweet potatoes without much issues. My concerns are that it doesn't come with anything to keep the blade safe. No sheath or safety device, so I ended up having to just keep this in the back of my drawer so the kids don't accidentally get to it. Also, after washing it a few times I am seeing little knicks and cuts in the blade itself. I have older knives that still have a complete sharp edge with no marks on it. I feel like it should last a little longer before it starts showing such signs of wear. I still give this 4 stars though, it is a really good paring knife.

A chef in my family likes this knife and is happy with the quality
The Brund Easycut chef's knife that is 8 inches has a high-quality blade that will meet a professional chef's needs at home. A chef in my family likes this knife and is happy with the quality. The blade is sharp and the grip is ergonomic even for larger hands. The blade is on the thinner side but still has durability. The knife is attractive and has a lightweight in hand. The grip does not slip with wet hands and allows for fast slicing, mincing, and chopping. The sheath is a nice touch and is great for storage to prevent damage. I would re-order this knife again for the family and am happy with the quality.

Handy all-around knife
A very satisfactory general utility kitchen knife. The handle is ergonomic and holds well even with damp hands. The blade is sharp and cuts neatly, retaining its edge with use. The blade shape is excellent; its gentle curve makes cutting and chopping easier than with a strait-bladed knife. The down-curved point also served well, allowing for safer and more comfortable two-handed manipulation of the blade. The knife cover is not particularly useful – it slips on and keeps the blade safe but does not seem that it would hold up to continued stress and cannot be secured onto the knife.

Well balance kitchen knife
This is a really well balanced and high quality kitchen knife. It’s a moderate size, not for your turkey cutting - but great for smaller necessities. It’s works great with tomatoes, I’ve noticed. It’s very sharp and after a long time of use it continues to stay sharp. I mainly use it for my veggies and fruits, but I have tried it with red meat and it works well with roasts.

Sharp, thin knife, perfect for all kitchens
I have so many knives in the kitchen that are big and thick and I hate them! My go-to knife for paring, was a Ginzu knife. I've always lived that knife because of the thin blade that cut so great! But, after 30 years, it finally broke!I was heartbroken until I found this knife! It is so sharp! It works on sweet potatos! Russet potatoes! Any vegetable you can think of!My best test was to see if it would slice 1/2" slices of cookie dough from a roll. It worked perfectly! I was actually able to cut through the entire roll without having to clean the knife. But, beware! It is really sharp!

Nicely balanced chef's knife with a good sharp blade
Perfect timing! This chef's knife arrived a few days before Thanksgiving so I got to try it out chopping up veggies. It's a very nice medium-size (eight-inch) knife and lightweight knife. The blade has a nice "rock" (curve) to it so that you're able to chop and dice just by rolling the blade back from the tip. The handle is a tiny bit small in diameter for my hand (I just prefer a knife with a fatter handle) but it is very comfortable. The knife is very sharp and comes with it's own sheath for safe keeping, though I had an extra space in one of my knife blocks so that's where it will live.I think that for the price this is quite a nice professional knife. Not sure yet how well it holds its edge, but it seems very well made and hopefully it will take a sharpening pretty well.
