Egypt Before the Written History: THE LOST KNOWLEDGE OF ANCIENT EGYPT Review: The Art of asking the right Questions—demonstrated artfully by Mohamed Ibrahim - The author brings three key qualities to the table most ancient Egypt researchers, amateurs and professionals alike, cannot muster: He grew up breathing ancient Egypt, his profession has taken him to gain first-hand observations of many ancient places, monuments, and artifacts in his country most have not seen, and he has interacted with people of all walks off life from around the world who have discussed their ideas with him. From this vast repertoire of very personal experiences, Mohamed has distilled some fundamental insights. In "Egypt Before the Written History," Mohamed will present two Egypts to you. One of these Egypts, the pre-dynastic and dynastic Egypt, is the one that makes sense considering the material remains discovered by Egyptologists, adventurers, historians, conquerors, and emperors. But the other Egypt, the prehistoric Egypt, whose mind-boggling imprints Mohamed points out at several places in the book, does not fit into this story of gradual development from stone tools and clay vessels to metal tools and stone monuments. This other Egypt is about hard stone vessels, magnificent stony pyramids and statues at Giza, and incomprehensible traces of craftsmanship left in some of the hardest substances found on Earth incompatible with the tools of pre-dynastic and dynastic Egypt. This was an easy read for me and I trust it will be for many readers just the same. For anyone who wants to travel Egypt, this is one to read before you make the trip. Egypt Before the Written History isn't a boring tour guide nor is it an academic tome you will never finish. It is written from the very personal and personable perspective of an individual who has ancient Egypt in his blood, who has studied his country's past, and who has taken a step back to ask some compelling questions. Reading this book, you will thus receive both: An education of key facts of ancient Egypt as they are taught by Egyptologists and historians, and a view past the model they have constructed from those facts. In the last chapter of the book, Mohamed will tell you how he views the past, how he explains the other Egypt. Regardless if you agree or not, the take-away is that you must know a subject matter to know what questions to ask that have not been answered or have not been answered well. But you must also have imagination and a creative mind. Mohamed Ibrahim is one of those diamonds in the rough that has both, as is on full display in this book. Review: Answers Some of The Mysteries of Egypt - Main stream Egyptologist don’t have the answers unless you include knowledge of past ancient technology and lost civilizations forgotten through Earth changes. I met the author on tour, he is very knowledgeable about conventional and alternative history of ancient Egypt. If you ever visit Egypt go on tour with him. Read the book and you’ll be ready to visit and be more enlightened.

The Art of asking the right Questions—demonstrated artfully by Mohamed Ibrahim
The author brings three key qualities to the table most ancient Egypt researchers, amateurs and professionals alike, cannot muster: He grew up breathing ancient Egypt, his profession has taken him to gain first-hand observations of many ancient places, monuments, and artifacts in his country most have not seen, and he has interacted with people of all walks off life from around the world who have discussed their ideas with him. Before written history??
Besides the multiple misspellings and errors in this book, in no way does it cover Egypt before written history. I am a fan of this material and was really looking forward to this book being released. Unfortunately I didn't get any new information on the lost technology or anything answered that most of us who follow this subject already knows. However, I did enjoy the photos included of ancient Egyptian items and drawings. This rang hollow for me as much as I wanted it to be great. It fell short so I can only give it 3 stars.

An insider’s knowledge of Ancient Egypt
Mohamed takes you on a deep dive into ancient Egyptian history. Using keen observation, he brings evidence of unexplained high tech anomalies. I learned so much and have a deeper appreciation. Microwaves!?.

Real Science by an actual Scientist
Mohamed has spent the better part of his academic career researching and evaluating the existing “science” against what can be evidenced. The result is a comprehensive work that must the best explanation of the purpose and use of the Pyramids and the civilisation preceding Egypt.

Insightful and Slightly Provocative.
Written in 2023, at 390 pages with perhaps a 1/7th of those being illustrations, Mr Elabassiouny provides a very solid if not unique introduction into wide range of subjects concerning Egypt's earliest past as he starts out with geological epochs beginning with the Precambrian and then steps you through to our current epoch, the Holocene, with short summarizations that demonstrate that all and parts of Egypt were underwater at different times, with short discussions on the various geological stratum that lay under the ground before moving into the pre and proto dynastic periods and eventually the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms to set up for deeper dive on the various stone constructions in Egypt from Pyramids, to temples to steles, raising provocative questions on how they were quarried, moved, and set up. Interspersed with talk on Hieroglyphics, ancient myths and funerary rites it makes for an interesting book, the kind that will want to make the reader dig deeper, which should be the intention of any introductory text, which is what you're getting here. Although his approach is a bit unorthodox and slightly undisciplined it's better than some introductory texts on Egypt's ancient past as Mr Elabassiouny is clearly enthused with his subject and that makes quite the difference. Not a dry read, actually an easy one, and spotted with interesting facts the type you'd only get from a very knowledgeable and studied tour guide, one not totally bought in on how Egypt's ancient history is portrayed and who has spent time conversing and soliciting opinions from the many professional and educated persons who have come to Egypt to see the past. Overall, insightful and slightly provocative, my only misgiving is it did not go deeper.

A must-read for Egypt lovers!
I had the honor of taking a tour through Egypt with Mohamed in February 2024. He shows you things that will blow your mind and make you question everything about the history we have been told. This book is the next best thing to a live tour with him!

Basically, a review of Egyptian history.
Not worth the money. Grammar errors, too many to mention. Photos are of very poor quality.

In this book, Mohamed Ibrahim explores the rich history of one of the world's most enigmatic civilizations. Ibrahim takes readers on a mesmerizing journey through the sands of time, skillfully uncovering the mysteries and wisdom that the ancient Egyptians left behind. The book has a balanced approach to storytelling. Mohamed Ibrahim made a good equilibrium, weaving together historical accounts, archaeological findings, Ancient Texts, and the occasional speculative interpretation. This balance adds a layer of authenticity to the narrative, making it accessible to both history enthusiasts and casual readers alike. The narrative guides the readers through the rise and fall of almost all dynasties, some insights to the construction of monumental structures, and the fascinating cultural and religious practices that defined ancient Egyptian society. the book excels in presenting some complex ideas with clarity, making the book a joy to read for those new to the subject as well as seasoned scholars. Whether you're a history buff or a casual reader, I recommend this book for anyone eager to unravel the mysteries of ancient Egypt.

Peculiar book. The first and especially last chapters are interesting and worth buying the book. Everything in between just got me wondering why no one bothered to edit this book before it got published. The layout choices seem random, the quality of the printed photos is often poor, there are no captions under them (so what am I'm looking at??), a lot of other historians and Egyptologists are being mentioned but there are no footnotes or references to their work and the (big) middle part of the book is just a overview of plain facts you can find in any book about ancient Egypt. I did love the fact that a lot of words and concepts are also written in hieroglyphs though. Interesting book, but it needs a good editor.

The author turns some of the longheld beliefs about the Egyptian pyramids on it's head. Was there a prehistorical intelligence that created the initial wisdom behind the pyramids? Fascinating! Unfortunately the English needs improvement for better understanding. Otherwise, we'll worth the time to read.
