Energetic, Fun, and Motivational
I bought this dvd set after researching all the reviews on Tracy Anderson, that ranged from warnings on anorexia through to impossible dance regimes. At 41 I thought I would probably be out of my depth with regards to the dance moves and energy levels required, and after the warm-out I was more than slightly daunted. However.. don't believe the hype! The dance moves are very simple once broken down, the deep hardcore trance music is brilliant to enable you to zone-out when you start getting tired and motivates you to push through. I've only tried it twice and I can do the first two cardio dance workouts back-to-back. If, like me, you're a fan of The Firm, you'll find these DVD's challenging but achievable. The real burn starts on the toning sessions which again are simple, dance orientated, but highly effective.. I have never worked my abs so effectively while standing up - highly enjoyable!

Enjoyable and saw results! What more could you ask for?
Purchased this DVD with the promise of seeing results and I absolutely did within 2 weeks, tighter muscles and could 'feel' a difference.When I purchased this I read a lot of reviews to see whether it was for me, i wanted to know about results and what the workouts were like and I said to myself I would write a review either way to inform others of what I wanted to know, so here it is:People were complaining Tracy is annoying, she is not. She is exactly (well almost!) exactly what I would want from a exercise DVD leader. She doesn't really give you too much instruction and changes sometimes without mention but as long as you keep your eyes on the TV you'll be fine.People complained she did more reps on one side that the other, totally wouldn't have noticed this if people didn't point it out but its not at all noticeable, there was me thinking I would have one super toned thigh and one flabby one still, not the case at all.So about the DVDs. I haven;t checked the price difference but the Dance Cardio workout is near impossible and would only recommend buying the Mat Workout and Total Cardio workout.Mat workout is more working on your toning of muscles, its odd angles and you need a fair amount of space to do it in but I am able to do it in an average sized bedroom. You feel great after you do it, its moderately hard, so absolutely do-able and she pushes you enough before that 'about-to-die-must-stop-now' feeling. (Roughly 45 mins long)Total Cardio workout. First time I did this I was in hysterics thinking 'oh wow this is not a routine it seems like I'm just jumping around' and I lost my way so much I felt a bit silly (good job I was on my own doing it!) but isn't muscle memory just amazing? Went back and tried again 2 days later and I did absolutely fine and it was so much fun, I look forward to doing that one now, great cardio workout. (Roughly 50 mins long)Dance workout is not worth it. I am an extremely dedicated and determined person and never give up on things (wont leave a cinema even if I'm despising the film as i PAID to be there, that sort of thing!) and I gave up on this. Its impossible, no instructions, impossible moves, just plain silly. (Roughly...TOO LONG!)So to sum up, I saw results in 2 weeks and I'm going to continue with it confident that I will see even more results (I exercise 4 times a week with both so 2 of each, total/mat/total/mat). Good value for money I would say. She pushes you enough but not so much you think you're going to die, just give it a go and see how you get on, don't expect miracles, eat better and I'll update in a couple months to let you know how its worked out too.

Could not play
I was really excited to play these workouts at home but as I am In USA I can't play them. They are region 2, so they won't play in my dvd. BUT I do have to say that upon contacting Amazon.UK with the issue, they immediately refunded my money, told me not to return the dvds as it would be too expensive for me to do so and explained why I could not play. They could not be nicer. Amazon Customer service, no matter where, is just extraordinary, and for that I give 5 stars.

Shockingly bad product!
I actually give this product 0 stars out of 5, but you can't do that on Amazon so I've had to give a only got a score of 1 to publish the review! Let me explain...I am a lover of exercise DVDs; I have a lot of Davina's programmes which all come highly recommended, a few of the 10 Minute Solutions, a few Gillian Anderson and Nell McAndrew and a few yoga DVDs - all of which I enjoy, especially Davina's programmes (they are great exercises, Davina is entertaining throughout, and importantly the teachers give you very clear instructions about what you should be doing). I finally gave in a purchased this DVD and was shocked at how bad it was!The main issue is that she does not talk you through the moves at all, this is a real problem when you are often in positions where it is impossible to see the TV because how on earth do you know what to do next other than turn your neck into such a position to see the TV again, only to realise she left that pose you're in long ago, and is now muttering about something else! The way she teaches the warm up and the routines are just so bad, she might be loved by GP and Madonna but she does not know how to teach a class!For example, I put on the cardiac dance DVD first - after a very lame warm-up you have a choice of 8 different dance routines. For the warm up, she will be in the middle of a bending down move, and you're following, so you've got your head down and you're not looking at the TV screen, you're thinking you're holding this move to feel the stretch, you turn your head and check the TV and you realise she's standing up stretching her arms over her head!Throughout, she only ever just mutters the occasional move, so you have to keep your neck cranked to see the TV constantly, it's generally very boring - like trying to prance around the room following your younger sister as she badly shows you a new dance move - and I would not recommend her at all. Also the music is boring, she's not engaging at all I think she bores herself too, and she's clearly got no sense of humour or excitement or encouragement! I gave up and tried the mat work out DVD - also boring, boring, boring and she does not instruct you at all! I am now no longer interested in trying her total cardio DVD, and I don't care if she actually has got some good moves once you take the time to learn them all off by heart - I want a DVD you can put on and have fun to and feel confident in what you are doing, you do NOT get this with this DVD. What a waste of money and time!

You need to be brave !
The mat video is really the one you need to do the technical part of the exercises. You need to be brave tough as the promised results will come only if you do the video (+/- 1 hour) 4 to 6 times per week. It certainly helps to firm up your upper arms and create lean legs.The cardio and dance video is not essential according to me as you can do that on your own: jogging, biking, or other cardio exercises. The choreography is hard to follow. Not easy.

3 diversi dvd. Tutto in inglese ma di facile comprensione. Un dvd è adatto per il cardio uno sono degli esercizi per tutto il corpo, l.altro più adatto a chi appassionato di danza. Io lo consiglio.i risultati si notano se usato con costanza.

Fantástico!!
Este triple CD es completísimo, el mat workout es fácil de seguir y muy efectivo. Os recomiendo unos altavoces porque se escucha un poco bajito al menos en mi PC. Los otros dos son de cardio pero en plan aerobic bailado, osea tenéis que aprenderos la coreografía antes!!El precio increíble!!Estoy encantada!

mon corps commence à se transformer c'est vraiment dingue ... par contre il faut vraiment se tenir à faire 1h 6 jour/7.C'est en anglais, je ne suis pas bilingue mais on comprend assez facilement avec un anglais scolaire.Je me suis vraiment affinée au niveau des hanches.
