My toddler loved these and there's little or no mess. The lids are a bit tough to get off for a toddler but maybe that's a good thing.

Good quality,nicely packaged for fun colouring. Will get the big size next time as these mini sticks wont last my boy long...

Bought for my 5 year old who uses them at school and wanted her own set. They're brilliant! A nice size to hold (like a small prit stick size), lots of colour choice (including a couple of sparkly ones) and make lovely pictures. Best of all she can get them out, use them, put them away again and there is NO MESS! Hallelujah.

I want to start this review by saying that I am Little Brian's full sized paint stick's biggest fan. They are quite simply toddler and pre-schooler cat-nip. Hence, I saw these and had to let my little one loose with them!The good:1. They have great colours. My three year old has been making amazing pictures using lots of colours and the result looks like a contemporary art masterpiece! The colours work like the full sized paint sticks - colours overlap easily without smudging.We have our paint-sticks permanently underneath a toddler easel, which is loaded with paper and my three year old makes a new picture every day. Visiting little ones are very pleased with their results too.2. They are smaller, so pencil grip is a bit easier and with the paint stick end narrower, more detail can be achieved.On the downside:1. These smaller paint sticks have casings which are one uniform colour. It isn't nearly as clear for little ones which colour they are going to use with a cursory glance.2. Secondly, the caps are fiddly and very hard for little (and big!) fingers to get off.

These are ideal for days you don’t want to be cleaning lots of runny paint up from your children’s art. These have been used lots and my 3 year old loves them and so do I because they dry really fast and are very colourful! The only problem is they may break if the stick has been pushed too far up with little heavy hands however if they’re monitored they’ll be fine. Very easy to use for little ones, Amazing price too!
