Too noisy
Ridiculously noisy, spent half an hour messing around with it, read through the instructions numerous times and did everything it said to do. the result was a decent pump, but way too noisy for keeping in my living room.

No protection for fish
A little noisy but does the job. However if you have smaller fish (young guppies etc) I wouldn't recommend, I lost one of my favourites who accidently got sucked and trapped. I originally bought it for plants and for a bit of movement for my guppies who love flow. For the noise I would recommend turning upside down and also to avoid tall plants getting trapped as I have recently found out. There's actually nowhere to put it considering my tall plants are growing at the back and edges.

Got this for my smaller tank and the flow is good but if you want to direct it slightly different then it easily falls off its attatchment. This is really annoying and requires you having to turn it off and pull out the tank to fit together again.

Noisy
Gives good flow in my fluval flex 34 marine tank but rattles like anything, sent a message to hydor re the noise but haven't heard anything yet.May return it .

Le systeme d'attache n'est pas au point maintient de pompe insuffisant a cause d'un berceau en plastique pas assez rigide. Dommage car l'idée de l'aimant est bonne (sauf si sa rouille!).650 l/h?? Je voudrais bien savoir dans quelles conditions. La pression de refoulement est insuffisante pour une utilisation autre que du brassage.Pour couronner le tout, je l'ai reçu avec une prise anglaise.
