Will 590 14 " barrel shockwave with top rear mounted rail, and small flashlight/laser fit in this? or would this be a tight fit?

It will be tight ,but it will fit. I have a Beileshi red dot laser mount on rail mounted on both my 12ga Shockwave and my 20ga Shockwave. The scabbard is 18.5'' long. This brings the opening of the scabboard right up next to my laser. If your flashlight is small it should fit.I store my Gun in a NEEWER violin case. They are cheap and work great!I've also attached the Magpul M-Lok hand stop kit to the stock for grip. This really keeps my forehand away from the end of the barrel.

think so, It fits my 18" just fine

Will it fit a tatical 20" barrell?

It will fit just like how the picture showed, but the longer the barrel the more your gun stick out, in other words good idea but bad design! (Sling design is trash, good only if you like to use molle) hope that help.

Will this fit a remington 870 with pistol grip and 18' barrell

Bought one for a Mossberg with 18" barrell and pistol grip. It hung out the top so far that it made it so top heavy that I couldnt attach it to anything. May suit your needs. Didnt mine.
