Ironton 42in. Long Reach Air Scraper

Got this scraper for an "out of the box" use. Had to dig a trench in dried clay and rocky soil, used the wider chisel to cut in and then shoveled the loose dirt out, down to 2-3 feet. Worked perfect and was well worth the purchase price. Sturdy, well designed tool.

I can't believe we haven't had this before. We have a garage with large equipment that has to pull up and idle. The problem is that the exhaust melts the snow and creates a lake because it's in the same area, and it's relatively flat. So we have to break the ice dam and this thing is outstanding. If you let it do the work it does not tear things up, works twice as fast, and probably will keep a work comp claim from coming our way because someone isn't breaking their back with a shovel. It really is well worth the investment.

This is a tool for a hard working man. Had to take out a vinyl tile floor and this hard working tool did you the job

Actually did not use it. It was heavy and clumsy for our apllication. It aas well made for the price and probably a good tool for others.

Works well, but 8 gal compressor is not big enough. Added extra tank and have to take a break every 5 min or so to recharge, but it's a relief to take a break :)

Works great, Just a little heavy for long term use.

This is a very sturdy tool that has already proves its value on various jobs around the house. Our poor little air compressor is too small to handle it, and will soon have to be replaced.

I did not buy this to use as a floor scraper, I use it as a ballast compactor on our 1.5 inch scale 7-1/2 inch gauge railroad. It is a perfect tool to tamp ballast between and under ties.
