Perfect for working up to your first pull up
I’ve been using the IRONSURGE Pull Up Bar for Hallway or Doorway for a few weeks and really like it. It is easy to set up, really sturdy, and the grip is comfortable. It’s also incredibly versatile for different exercises. They offer a free smaller bar with purchase which was super easy to claim and showed up fast. Now I have two bars! I can’t do a pull up yet and probably won’t for months, but this definitely makes it easier to work toward my goals.

Ironsurge Pull-up Bar
Mounted the medium sized bar between two doorways that are separated by a hallway. Super easy to install, it took me less than 5 minutes. Great quality, sturdy and durable.

Very well built, sturdy pull-up bar.
The Ironsurge 37-47” is a very well made, high quality and solid pull-up bar. For extra peace of mind, I placed mine in the hallway, above the trim on 2 doors. I believe if it was installed just on the drywall, according to the instructions provided, that it would also be very secure. It is easy to adjust and, once set in place, it stays in place. The resistance bands and handles are a very nice bonus and they, too, are very high quality. I am not yet able to do pull-ups but I do frequently just hang from the bar, to help decompress my spine which offers relief for a while. I leave the bar in place so that it’s ready whenever I feel the need for a hang. At the time of my purchase, a Free travel size bar was offered as a bonus with the purchase of either the medium or large size bar, making it an exceptional value. I would definitely recommend this bar for anyone wanting a good pull-up bar.

No issues after three weeks
Coming up on three weeks of almost daily use and the product is working flawlessly. I've experienced no slipping, loosening or damage to my walls. The only negative would be the lack of an instruction manual. A manual would have emphasized that the bar lengthens and shortens by turning the bar, and therefore the bar must be locked into place to avoid slippage. I've noted a few reviews pointing out this problem I resorted to YouTube, and the presenter clearly stated that the locks don't matter once the bar is in place. This may be the problem for those revewers.

Look elsewhere!
It is sturdy! I had it up in a wide doorway for over a year and it didn’t budge. But the part about it going in hallways isn’t the best idea so only use it in doorframes. The ends of this bar are a soft plastic that really embedded itself into the wall and would not let go. So it messed up both sides of the paint and drywall pretty bad. You could maybe put some folded parchment paper between the bar-end and the wall? But I would not buy this again because this added quite the project for me to do and pay for. My advice is to get a regular bar with the rubber ends that fits into an actual doorframe. This bar would be too awkward to put in a doorframe.

Good product but I don't feel safe using it to anchor gymnastics rings or a trx to it.
Good product but I don't feel safe using it to anchor gymnastics rings or a trx to it. I think it needs the option to fix the product to the wall through screws.

Easy to install and move
I installed it in my bedroom closet doorway. It was easy to install and easy to move when I was ready to move it higher. It holds my weight (125 lbs). I use it for hanging exercises to recover from shoulder impingement, and it has worked for me.

Best chinup bar out there
100% quality item. I do a lot of fitness product reviews and this is fantastic. Made well. Functions as described. And the little bonuses are a nice touch. Well done Ironsurge. I'd be happy to do videos on your products

Used it for a few weeks and felt alright , until it slipped off the wall while I was using it. I only weigh 155 so I'm not a heavy dude, I didn't hurt myself thankfully but this was the very last time I put my trust in doorway or wall mounted pull up bars. They just aren't meant for long term use. I had it on super tight between 2 studs in the walls so I was extra sure it was sturdy and it still lost its grip

La barra es de muy buena calidad, se fija muy bien a los marcos de las puertas y no se mueve nada al utilizarla. Pero casi 100kg y se siente muy segura. El envío fue muy tardado, fuera de eso vale mucho la pena.

I ordered this bar just for pulling up exercises. But the most important part the ‘safety supporting equipment’ is excluded from the package!
