Great value!!
I recently installed the Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 75V 10A Solar Charge Controller in my solar power system, and I couldn't be more impressed! From its efficient MPPT technology to its seamless Bluetooth connectivity, this charge controller has truly revolutionized the way I manage and monitor my solar energy production.First off, let's talk about performance. The MPPT algorithm in this controller works wonders in maximizing the power output from my solar panels, even in less-than-ideal conditions. I've noticed a significant increase in energy harvest since switching to this controller, which has translated into savings on my energy bills. One of the standout features for me is the Bluetooth connectivity. Being able to monitor and adjust settings right from my smartphone using the VictronConnect app is incredibly convenient. Whether I'm at home or away, I can easily keep tabs on my system's performance and make any necessary adjustments on the fly. It's truly a game-changer in terms of ease of use and peace of mind.I also appreciate the controller's versatility. With support for both 12V and 24V systems and a wide input voltage range, it's compatible with a variety of solar panel configurations, giving me flexibility in designing my setup. Plus, the temperature compensation feature ensures optimal charging performance, which is essential for prolonging the lifespan of my batteries. In terms of build quality, the Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT controller feels solid and durable. It's clear that this is a product designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor use, which is essential for me as I live in an area with harsh weather conditions. While the price may be a bit higher compared to some other options on the market, I firmly believe that the performance, reliability, and convenience offered by this charge controller more than justify the investment. It's a top-tier product that delivers on its promises, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to take their solar setup to the next level. In summary, if you're serious about optimizing your solar power system for maximum efficiency and convenience, look no further than the Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 75V 10A Solar Charge Controller. It's been a game-changer for me, and I'm confident it will be for you too!

Efficient MPPT charging with Bluetooth control and easy installation
☀️ The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 75V 10A Solar Charge Controller manages energy efficiently using advanced MPPT technology to optimise solar power collection. It supports both 12V and 24V systems and comes in a compact, durable design suitable for outdoor use. Bluetooth connectivity allows for monitoring and adjustment via the VictronConnect app, which I find intuitive and detailed. Installation was straightforward, with comprehensive wiring guidance available on the manufacturer’s website.🏕️ I use it with a 100W solar panel, and it significantly outperforms my older PWM controller, particularly in recharging depleted batteries. I like that the load terminals allow devices such as a tracker to run while the caravan is unattended. This ensures the tracker remains powered without risking severe depletion of the caravan battery. With adequate solar input exceeding the supply voltage by at least 5 volts, my caravan battery remains charged during the off-season.🚐 The output is fused, which is essential for safe operation, though I added additional fuses to all connections downstream of the controller. The Bluetooth range is limited as expected, and state-of-charge readings lack precision without a shunt, but the solar yield data is still useful. A shunt doesn’t seem necessary with a small installation such as mine. I like that the app provides charge status directly without needing to select the device from a list. While the cost is higher, the controller’s performance, compact size, and the reliability of the Victron brand make it a valuable addition to the solar setup in my caravan. ✔️

Spot on
This was definitely a worthwhile purchase. I bought this to replace the cheap one that came with the solar panel kit. The one supplied with the kit worked okay but I liked the idea of having Bluetooth control and so I could check what it was putting out.. works well.

Great for Smaller Solar Setups
I purchased this Victron 75/10 MPPT charge controller to charge a SLA battery via a small 100w solar panel. It appears to do the job well. Much better than my cheap PWM controller i was using prior to this. I love the fact this controller is Bluetooth, the Victron app is excellent and shows you the information you want to know, ie watts going in and amps. The SOC is very inaccurate but you are never going to be able to read an accurate SOC without a shunt. The app also informs you of your solar yield, i find this especially helpful. There are much cheaper charge controllers out there but victron is one of the best and the added functions make the price a little bit more worth it for me.Build quality wise it is excellent - there is no heat sink on this controller as it is the lowest voltage they do, therefore it makes it nice and compact to hide away out of sight. The bluetooth range is ok if you are in the same room, but leave the room the controller is in and i could not get a connection.I have a much bigger solar setup with lifepo4 batteries, which i use a different brand of charge controller for, i would love to upgrade this to a victron, but the price is just too expensive at the moment for higher Volts/Amperage Victron controllers.I hope that you found my review helpful.

It works straight out of the box
Don't waste your money on cheap alternatives. This works as you want a change controller to.Bluetooth app is great for setting parameters and watching the watts roll in.Range on Bluetooth not great but could be a power saving thing.Would have given it 5* if Bluetooth range was better.
