Leads too short and adding extension changes test results
Brand new battery tested. Leads are too short to plug into ODBC and battery at same time. Used existing cable to test battery in off the car mode. Battery acceptable results displayed. Used eight guage heavy duty jumper cables to extend reach to battery and plug into ODBC. Both in car and off car failed. Existing test leads too short to do all tests. Extending leads to battery affect test results. ODBC port extension cable may resolve, but cost as much as the tester
