200 Oasis Beanie

Had to return the product because my head was too big. The material is nice, for the few minutes I tried it on I can already feel like it is keeping my head warm. Super lightweight.

The Merino wool is soft, breathable, and just stretchy enough to feel like it was made for me. It’s become my nightly ritual: book in hand, beanie on head, and the world melts away. Who needs a bedtime cap when you’ve got the coziest hat ever crafted? And then, there’s watermelon judging day—my favorite occasion to show off this sunny masterpiece. The bright yellow hue is as cheerful as the juiciest watermelon rind and perfectly offsets the tin foil hat I wear for “other purposes” beneath it. No one’s the wiser. As I lean in to examine the perfect blend of sweetness and crunch in each watermelon slice, my beanie stands out in the crowd, much like the prize-winning fruit I’m evaluating. It’s not just a hat; it’s a loyal companion for life’s quirky moments, making me feel at home wherever I go.

Nice material, but it is small. I don't have a big head, and it does not cover my ears.

Very soft and extremely comfortable, offers very light weight warmth. Exactly what I wanted.

So thin it's like you have nothing on your head DOSEN'T keep you warm or cut down on the wind, you can actually see through it when you hold it up. Described as merino wool ??? Just a stretchy material so thin it useless for winter weather!

Works well, went running in 20 degree weather and it kept my dome warm.

Awesome lightweight beanie for backpacking!

I have owned previous versions of this product, soft and warm for my bald head. After much use they developed holes, wore out. So I bought more. This time the product is itchy, and the purchase is a disappointment. A different batch of wool no doubt, lower quality, different source?

Ik ben na jaren mijn icebreaker muts verloren. Zag deze staan en direct besteld, maar is dus gewoon een enkelvoudige muts, geen voering. Dus retour gestuurd.

icebreaker products are top tier merino material, i think this is my second beanie as i lost my first, it is very lightweight, barely noticeable when wearing it, top quality and keeps my head warm extremely well, i used it in the polish winter and it was way better than expected

I'm not generally a beanie kind of guy. But when I found myself in Calgary one cold winter, I sure needed something to cover my bald BC head - that's for sure. Didn't know if this was going to be heavy enough, but turns out it was. Made a big difference actually. I'd recommend this to anyone needing a warm head. It's thin and unobtrusive, not itchy, you barely even know it's there once on - yet it does the trick. I even wore a ballcap over it on a few of the coldest days. Without adjusting the cap's size strap either. Not the cheapest toque out there, but not the most $$ either. A good balance.

This beanie is stretchy, sturdy, no doubt hard wearing but the wool fabric is on the thin side and, in consequence, not likely to keep your head warm in chilly temps. For that a double layer merino is definitely better. Maybe this beanie is better under a jacket hood. On that basis it is worth 5 stars but if merino is your thing a heavier gauge weave and/or double layer would be best. E.g. Danish Endurance.
