Buttered Brazils
Being clumped together does detract from the quality a bit, back in the day they were individually wrapped. but they are still delicious "moreish" been buying them for years. Not as many as there used to be

A blast from the past and still taste great
I used to love these as a child , and my mum would always bring out a packet for Christmas as a special treat. We were talking about old sweets and how they have changed since we were kids and some of the really good ones where not available any more , and my mum brought up Toffee Brazils as one of her all time favourites. All Brazil nut related confectionery has been hard to find over recent years due to the decline of the nut trees and their farming, but Toffee ones seemed to have been be the hardest to find.So I decided to go on a hunt for these for a Xmas present for my mum and found these on Amazon and manufactured by a reputable company such as friars. At £9 for 450 grams I thought them to be expensive , but plunged for them as I simply couldn’t find them anywhere else. They came in a nice square box and was eager to try them out.The flavour is exactly how I remember them and are lovely , however not sure if my memory is playing tricks but I swear these used to be individually wrapped and more of a brazil nut shape like the chocolate versions.Unfortunately as they are not individually wrapped they are sort of clumped up in the box and sticking together. However this did not pose much of a problem as the consumption rate seemed to be far quicker than the sticking together rate 😂Lovely buttery toffee flavour, just as you remember , but be aware you might have fend off other family members for them

Could Be Better
Really nice and pleasant tasting but as it was a gift for a family member it doesn't look great when the whole thing is slightly clumped together having melted within the bag so the toffee pieces have stuck together. Prepare to get the mallet out and break it apart. It's very good otherwise. I think in future they should consider packaging each piece separately. Would probably mean it costing more but it would look a lot better than a clumped up mess. Paid £9.99 for 450g. Would not pay any more than this.

Nice taste but stuck together.
They need to be wrapped.

Delicious
Bought as a Christmas gift, so the review is based on childhood memories.Apparently they taste just as good as they did 50 years ago! Quick delivery and even quicker consumption!!

Can’t give as a gift
Beautiful packaging but, despite the sweets being in a sealed cellophane bag, they are just a solid clump of nuts and candy. They can’t be separated by hand and I’ll have to take a hammer to them. Thankfully they were only a gift for my mum, but she couldn’t even get her teeth through the bit I did manage to break off! Also, at the beginning of 2024 other reviewers commented on them being £9 for 450g - I have just paid £15.99 for the same amount that should really be classed as seconds!
