Bulkier than expected.
I do use it at times, but I bought it for studying my course books; bulky. I do recommend it if someone needs just desk reading and only 1 book.

Helps with pedicures if you have back pain
I got this for me and my mom for when we paint our toenails.One reviewer mentioned not being able to fit their hand under the magnifier for this, but what we did was stand it on top of a couple books.I have chronic back pain so this is super helpful in not having to be hunched over when doing pedicures.

Flimsy plastic.
It is so flimsy. Very disappointed.

wouldn’t want to read more than a page or two under it.
Legs snap in and don’t want to stay out. Magnifies the text but it makes it pretty blurry. I wouldn’t want to read more than a page or two under it.

Just for table reading
I purchased this magnifier for knitting and crocheting. It is poor designed, when you hang it over your neck you don't need the legs, but when you let the legs inside you don't have light.The plastic magnifier is just junk and flimsy and after short time your eyes are bothering.The cord is just a fine, thiny thing and comes out easily.

Highly recommended!This is a very simple magnifying for the elderly. It is very easy to use and carry. My father who is 81 loves this product. It enables him to read books in small print.
