I love gas spring mounts, and this one is pretty good. Installation was straight forward, although I do have a bone to pick. If you want to install it in the middle of your desk, you have to cut a pretty big hole for the brace (that normally goes down the edge of the desk) to go through. Then the clamp attaches just as it does on the edge of the desk. This is absurd.Some have complained that the gas spring isn't strong enough to hold 13 lbs. I adjusted the torque it to hold my monitor with no problem. I'm still able to move it without it falling to the desk.As gas spring monitor mounts go, this one isn't perfect. However, for the price, you can't go wrong with it.

I received this product for "free" through Vine.Overall, I'd give this monitor-mount about 4.5 stars. Not quite as good as some pricy ones, but better than others. It's got lots of adjustability, and be moved easy, is quick and easy to assemble, and comes with a clamp-on desk mount.* Sturdiness & Quality: It seems fairly good quality, though I'd encourage caution if you wish to sue a monitor bigger than 27 inches (as described). I don't think the 32-inch I tested is above the weight-limit, however, the arm did struggle a little unless I tightened the spring all the way. I wasn't going to actually use it with the 32 inch monitor, but I wanted to test.* Appearance & Material: It's black ,and a mixture of plastic and metal. It's nothing too impressive, but seems reasonable. Overall the mount doesn't weight much. The mounting-clamp itself though is quite sturdy.* Install: Setting up the mount was quick and easy, somewhere between 5-10 minutes for me.* Price: At $40, it seems reasonable. At a discount, I'd say it's a solid buy (there's currently a coupon at the time of writing)* Packaging: Packaging was plenty good enough for the mount, and it arrived undamaged.* Durability: As a standard disclaimer, I've only had this item for a short time, and will update this review if the item fails for any reason.

For the small size of the monitor 15 inches it does not hold very !!

I have 2 monitors and one of them didn't fit well with this arm, but the other one had 0 issues! This monitor arm is super easy to put together, the instructions were very clear but you almost don't even need them with how simple it is!You can mount this to your desk without having to move it around at all, which is a huge plus in my book. It has built in cable management to make life easier and the desk less cluttered. It's also super easy to change the tightening on the arm to make it as stiff or loose as you need/want it to be!I'm very satisfied with this mount and the amount of free space I have on my desk now!

My son saw a monitor arm like this when he was watching a gaming tournament recently and told me he wanted one, so I got this one when I saw it. He does have a vertical stand for one of his monitors but he put his second monitor on this. It does clamp down to the edge of your desk but he has a shell desk and the only side available to clamp on is the side where he sits, so we had to use the grommet for installation. That’s probably what I would have chosen anyway, I just don’t know if I could trust a clamp to stay tight with such an expensive item on it. It’s definitely sturdy in the grommet though. Installation was simple, took less than ten minutes. He loves that it’s fully adjustable, thanks to the gas powered spring arm. Now he can push it out of the way when he’s not using his second monitor. This is made of strong sturdy material. 10/10 recommend.

I opted for clamp mount to add an additional monitor to a second workstation (that is a laptop). This way the monitor can be lowered when not in use (when laptop screen is preferred). Works perfectly for this use case (24" display). Installed in minutes & is very sturdy, but also easily adjustable. Would buy another if ever needed.

I bought this monitor arm mount for my new Sansui 24 inch monitor to replace my 14 year old TV-Monitor that was beginning to show its age. The monitor is used with my secondary pc but also serves as a television and a streaming monitor for my Roku4. This monitor arm installed very easily and I was able to adjust the tension in the arm springs fast after reading the instructions. It makes the new monitor "float" above the desktop opening up a huge amount of dusty space on my desk. Good price. Good design. I'm happy with it.

Setup out of the box took less than 10 minutes. It works exactly as intended. Saved up a ton of space on my desk!

Its a good mount, but i find it a bit wonky. If i bend it too much at an angle, the arm collapses with the weight of the monitor. Was hoping the mount could have been less springy and have the option to lock it in the position i need.

I am in a ball of sweat trying to position this POS! It sticks in places and when you manage to knock it loose, it then just falls like there's no spring... there is no happy medium, you are high in the sky or on the ground. Absolute junk!

It sure was not easy to work with.. I got it on my desk but requiring modifying with some blocks.. My desk is not an Office desk it s home furnishing.. so had a decorative facia fronts and side.. Its very stiff and tricky to get it to go up and down.. Not overly sold on it. My first experience buying one of these.. NOW I know what to look for my desk. You have to leave the allen key in the joint that moves it up and down if you share the desk .
