This sash of pretty lights has worked out great for walks at night! I feel like I'm in a Christmas parade, very fun. It's easy to use and hasn't broken at all after a season of use. The charge lasts a long time, too. I do wish things still came with printed directions, that would be my only complaint. Some folks need that! Okay, so I'm a postmenopausal cranky old dame, so sue me! ; )Some people interpret the rainbow-like colors of the sash as Pride-related which is appealing to me. Of course my walking partner and I got a drive-by harassment from some dumdum suburban high school boys who yelled something rude at us. I wear these lights happily and we hold our heads high as a proud queer/LGBTQ+ ally though! : )

For this item's primary purpose -- being visible in the dark -- 5/5 stars for sure. It is very, very bright and the lights go all around the sash's (not a vest) circumference. It's also very simple to put on. Remember, it's just a loop and you throw it over your shoulder, just like in the seller's picture. I also tried to put it on my dog directly -- and was successful in making that somewhat secure by folding it over like a figure eight with the crossover across her back.Incidentally, you can cycle through a few different settings by just pushing the button. Those cycles are fast flashing, slower flashing and solid on.The reasons I dock it a star are the following:* The description says vest, but this is not a vest. It's just a continuous loop. Maybe you prefer that, actually, but the description should be accurate* Most importantly, they use multi color LEDs for some reason. This kind of makes you look silly since it's like you are wearing holiday lights -- particularly when in flashing mode. I would have preferred they just used a single color. I want to be seen, but don't need to draw unnecessary attention.* As it's a loop and not a vest, it's not really that well suited for running (despite the title), particularly if you are a bouncier runner. I'd rather not have the annoyance of something noticeable bouncing up and down on me for miles.To sum up, if you want to use this to be visible in some light outdoor activities like dog walking, it's easy to use and will definitely make you seen. Just beware that you will not be very subtle in doing so, given the multi-color lights.

Product is a rubber belt with colored LED lights embedded in the center every 2 1/2". It has no clip or fastener to take it apart (to fasten it around yourself), but I just wear it around the neck and under one arm (like a bandolero) - easy to put on and take off, even over a heavy coat. Can be operated in 1 of 3 modes: fast flash, slow flash or constant on. Has more than 4 hours of continuous running time before lights start to fade in each of the modes. Recharges in 45 minutes or less. Comes with a built in red/green charging indicator light and a mini-USB to USB charging cord. Push button switch is easy to operate and seems reasonably durable. Rubber plug covering charging port fits tightly, so should be waterproof - I have walked in the snow with no issues. The lights are very bright (they cast enough light on the constant on setting that you can see the road for a short distance in full darkness, and I actually found the flashing settings to be almost ditracting, BUT you are certainly visible!) Very good product - could not be happier.

I live in a town with an unfortunate lack of sidewalks and where two people I personally know have been struck by cars, and the only time I can find to go for walks is at night, so some kind of visibility tool is a must. I had been using a reflective vest, but I felt like it wasn't visible enough. These lights are hard to miss. They're super easy to use, just slip on like a sash and press the button. The different colored lights are pretty too - you'll look like a Christmas tree 😜. It has 3 modes - solid, flashing, and crazy flashing. I feel like I might get a seizure or something with the flashing modes haha, so I stick to solid. Note that I am using these just for walking, not running, so I can't comment on comfort for running. But for walking, they're great. Simple and easy to use.
