Great headset along several dimensions
These are delightful headphones. I would definitely say they are worth the price and I may buy some more. I use them for gaming and also for internet conference calls.1. The sound is very good...if you push the mic in, they sound good enough that you would think they are medium-high end headphones. This is the area most headsets are lacking for some reason.2. The mic is pretty good. People on the other side said I sounded great. And it's really nice that it pushes back in so they look and feel like regular headphones again. I also really like that the mic is flexible and can be placed as close or as far away from your head as you want.3. They are very comfortable. I mean, very comfortable. The ear cushions are very soft and fit all the way over your ears without crushing them at all. The headband is breathable and doesn't make the top of your head sweat. Just really comfy.4. The design looks and feels like quality. That's really aesthetic but they did a good job. It's not perfect. They opted to make it rather sound isolating. I'm sure some people like that, but on a headset, it makes it so you can't hear your own voice very well. The result is that it feels very strange when you talk. I will often pull one of the earpieces partly off my ear so I can hear myself speak better. For my preferences, a semi-open design would be much preferred.I'm glad I have them, though. I have several headsets and this is by far the best.

and holy crap, what a huge difference it makes
10/10. I own a Razer mouse and keyboard too, and bought a cheap $24 headset from some lesser known company before buying this Razer Kraken. I was so unhappy with the other set that I decided to spring for the Kraken, and holy crap, what a huge difference it makes. I like that the lenght is adjustable, the mic is retractable and mute-able via button, and they really block out all other sounds. My girlfriend has to yell next to me to get my attention. If you have other Razer gear, this is a no-brainer choice because it's all managed by the same software. If they're all Chroma enabled, even better, cause there's your light controls. The 7.1 surround was an easy installation too because of the software already being there. If I had one complaint, it's that the sound blocking is TOO GOOD, and that I can't hear myself talk when I do. This may bother some more than others, but I imagine I'll get use to it eventually.I bought a refurbished model and have zero issues buying others from Razer.

Perfect.
This headset is super comfy. It feels very premium and high quality. I bought this headset refurbished and it looks brand new. The mic is retractable and also there’s a button on the mic piece where you can mute yourself if you need to. Sound quality is amazing. You can fully customize this headset by using the razer synapse app on your computer. Definitely worth buying. I recommend buying this headset.

Not for ps4. Possible defect in product
Amazing product but unfortunately on ps4 there is a very loud sidetone (voice playback when you speak) to the point where I can here my feet rubbing on the floor. This only plays in your own headset. Theres also a faint static sound where my friends said it sounded like I had a fan on but it was so low they didnt hear until I asked and they had no sound playing on their headsets. I really wanted to keep this headset because it's so nice but I had to return it. Maybe I got a defected product but I've seen posts online about the same issue. Razer support couldnt help me find a solution and recommended returning the product. If you're on PC this headset is amazing. Perfect comfort, sound is great and mic is clear. The kraken v2 doesn't sync with razer synapses so keep that in mind.

Works very well!
I ended up buying these headphones after my old Razer Kraken Pro V1 headset ended up breaking, with both sides not having any sound project out of them. The wire on the old ones also ended up breaking. So far, however, these headphones seem to be holding up much better. The sound quality is not that different from the V1 headphones, but it is a little better. These headphones are a little more comfortable than the V1 ones. They have bigger cups in order to accommodate people with bigger ears, which is amazing. The cushions for some reason feel, a little different, but I can get used to them fine.Overall, these headphones work really well, and I will keep you updated if anything happens to them. :)

Must have headset for gaming!
This is a great headset for gaming, watching movies, or just chatting with friends. There a few Pros and only 1 Con I could see after the first couple weeks of use. You get what you pay for, and these are worth the price.Pros:- The adjustable headband makes it easy to fit on larger or smaller heads.- 3.5 mm Jack for use on Xbox controller and phone, or laptops that only have a mic/headphone jack.- Comes with the line splitter and extension for PC to separate the mic and headphone channels.- In-line mute and volume controlCons:- The in-line volume control can get bumped and lose you volume to the headphones. If you ever have the volume turned all the way up and still can't hear anything, or the volume is really low in the headphones, check the in-line volume dial.I have only used about a dozen different headsets, and these have to be at the top of the list as far as comfort, quality, and price.

Good but not great.
With these being USB the sound quality is quite good and the 7.1 works well. But they lack power I found myself using these at max volume most of the time, which is just about right for a lot of things but on low volume videos or games they didnt have anymore to give. I would recommend going with the standard 3.5mm plug and be able to get more if you need it like I have found I need to often.
