I bought my 7yo the size 7-8 and it's really big on him.For the manufacturer, I would recommend adding some kind of cinching system to these vests. While this will keep him warm with the addition of a jacket, it's far too loose to keep him warm without one. It just won't hold his heat in.Overall, the vest is nice. It's soft and the zipper appears to be easy to use for him (doesn't get stuck).Regardless of the size, I would recommend it. At least it will still fit next year!

Fits perfectly!

I was extremely impressed with this polar fleece vest by Spring&Gege. The fit was perfect for my 5-year-old daughter who is just shy of four feet and weighs around 41 lbs. The true black fleece material was exceptionally soft to the touch, washed up nicely, and line-dried perfectly.The vest's seams and hem were all sewn evenly, and the stitching was perfectly finished leaving no loose or unraveling threads. The metal zipper laid flat down the front, not buckled and pulled up and down with ease. The high collar sat just under her chin comfortably, perfectly placed to keep the cold out. There was also plenty of room for a heavier sweatshirt/sweater to be worn underneath, leaving enough room for her to still move about freely.I would highly recommend Spring&Gege’s polar fleece vest for a boy or girl. It is a great option for keeping the kiddos snug and warm but without the bulk of a winter coat. Overall, an exceptionally well-made garment using quality materials to create a fantastic product that you absolutely should not pass up.
