Fun game with some challenging questions even for our most knowledgeable friends
My husband and I have regular get-togethers with another couple that usually involve music trivia of some form or another (digital "name that tune" style challenges, trivia card games, etc.).This game is one of about a dozen trivia games I own, and it plays similarly--answer questions and collect the card if you get it right; win at a pre-set number of correct answers. For this game, questions are divided by difficulty level, and players continue answering until one person collects twenty-one points. Easier cards are assigned a "1-point" score, more difficult ones a 2, and the hardest a 3. This means someone could win in as little as 7 rounds if they get 3-point questions each time and answer each correctly. As the cards are shuffled together and players must take the next one in the pile, the game will undoubtedly last longer, but that's a double-edged sword. Using more questions with each gameplay limits the game's long-term playability if you and your friends can remember answers for questions read before. The positive:1) The questions run a decent range of decades, music genres, and facts (sometimes about musicians, sometimes about events, sometimes about the songs, some obscure and some not), so even the non-music aficionados at the table are likely to get something they can answer to keep the game fun for them. More importantly, the musical geniuses are also likely to get some wrong, which has not been the case with our previous games.2) The storage tin is a nice feature, especially with the molded insert to keep the glossy cards stationary. I've always preferred tins to boxes with my games.3) The suggested rules of play are printed on the bottom of the tin, so there's no rulebook to lose. This is definitely a bonus in my organizationally challenged house.3) It's a fast-paced game and will be a lot of fun with my crew, at least until we run out of questions. While the question number advertised seems like a lot, it really isn't. I predict we'll get around six games out of this before we hit the repeating phase. The not-so-positive:1) I received 33 1-point cards, 44 2-point cards, and 47 3-point cards in my pack, a total of 124 cards and 496 questions, 1 card short of the advertised set.2) The cards are flimsy, nowhere near as thick as other trivia games I own, and the corners are already showing wear from sorting and counting. As I haven't even shuffled them yet, I have no doubt durability will be an issue.3) While cards this glossy are nice to look at, they make stacking difficult as the cards slide off each other past a certain height. We'll need to put out half the deck, at most, and replenish as gameplay continues. We'll also need to carefully pick up the top card on the deck, as standard grabbing will cause the pile to scatter.4) The font for the questions is smaller than what's standard for cards of this nature, so it might be hard to read for some people (me included). Even my husband, who has perfect vision, found them a little difficult to read at times.5) The answers to the questions are printed upside down at the bottom of the question side of the card rather than on the flip side like my other games. While this wouldn't seem problematic, we usually have occasions in each game where someone wants to see the question because they don't understand it entirely (I have auditory processing disorder, so this happens a LOT for me) or because the person reading doesn't know how to pronounce something. Remembering to cover the bottom of the card while we're passing the card and holding it to read it will get cumbersome and, at times, will eliminate cards if we accidentally see the answers.Overall, it will be a fun game for my usual group of friends. I like that the questions aren't run-of-the-mill softballs and offer a good mix for everyone. However, given the questionable quality of the cards, the limited number of uses for gameplay, and the missing questions in the set I received, the game feels a little overpriced for me for what I get (about $25 at the time that I received the game).

Fun Rock Trivia game of wide ranging decades
This has been a fun Rock Trivia game. It comes in a nice tin for easy storage and has been an easy game to pick up and take with us on trips. The game ranges from the 60s to the 90s and so it has something for each one in our game group. The trivia questions can be relatively easy but can also stump the whole group. This game has been fun to pull out and play against one another, first to 21 with point values of 1 to 3, or simply read the questions together and see how many we can answer before we all get stumped.Pros: Nice collection of trivia questions across multiple decades Easy to store and easy to take with us Good number of question with 125 cards and 4 questions/cardCons: Nothing to report

Fun game
Perfect game for trivia night. Everyone wanted to be on my team since I knew a lot of the answers, but did get stumped on a few of them. I'll definitely need to buy an expansion pack if one comes out. Tons of questions from the 60s-90s. First person to 21 points wins. They were much harder for some other people at game night, so we scored each one at 3 points. The tin the cards come in are nice for storage. The cards aren't as thick as I expected them to be so be careful not to bend them.

Good stuff
I know rock so I was wondering how much these would challenge me. Out of the box the first three cards I smoked it, every answer right. As much as I liked the look on my GF's face that was a mix of impressed and disappointed that she didn't stump me I was thinking they might be too easy. The fourth card quickly put me in my place as I didn't get a single one right!I like it and even someone who knows their stuff WILL get stumped with these!

Fun Game
This is a fun trivia game. The premise of this one isn't much different from most trivia games. The first person to 21 points wins and question cards have point values of 1 to 3 depending on their level of difficulty. The questions are quite good. Some are pretty easy but others are quite challenging. All questions are based on music of the 1960s through the 1990s.The game comes in a metal tin so storage is easy. There are 125 cards with multiple questions on each. This is a fun game and is well done.
