Absolutely Precise
The machine set up was a cinch. I also got the flexible cover, which set up easily. My biggest issue was trying to figure out where to put my computer and the exhaust hoses, not from the Creality equipment but from my new work desk and outside exhaust. Included samples cut quickly and PERFECTLY. I am still amazed at the accuracy and consistency of cuts. I did one cut, from my software, that wasn't deep enough, so I simply included more reps without moving the wood or changing the home settings, and the new cuts perfectly aligned to the old ones. This machine is a gem! Be sure to take the time to print a speed/power matrix onto the wood your going to use. It is very useful. I like to see my charts, parameters, etc., set up for inches, as my other software is using inches, not mm's.

Impressive machine
I’ve had the Falcon 2 for about 2 months now and I continue to be impressed with the capabilities of the machine. I chose to use LightBurn as the software for running the laser and it is where most of my time has been spent trying to use the machine. The good news is that there are lots of useful videos in YouTube. The laser itself is capable of very fine detail and is powerful enough to cut through wood and acrylic. I was even able to cut out shapes in 3/4” pine without much charring of the edges. It’s worth noting that my kit came with a defective rotary attachment but customer support responded very quickly and sent me a new one within a few days. Pleased with this purchase!

Excellent starter laser engraving kit.
Simple to set up, good thing because the directions are mostly garbage. Poor grammar, small pictures - thank goodness for you tube.Much more powerful than I thought it would be, my first cutting went through the 3mm plywood and scored the fibre board underneath the workpiece! And the laser was not spaced above the plywood properly, I accidentally put it too high!Using LightBurn software (definitely worth the money), found the laser right off. LightBurn reads a slew of formats to both etch and engrave. Circuit users - it will etch .SVG files directly! No conversion necessary, which my wife loves.Pay the extra money for the cover (on Amazon) if you're using this indoors. Certain functions (such as calibration) generate smoke.Highly recommended. Wife and I both love it.

Laser Quality & Customer Service Is Trash
After a couple of months of researching I decided to go with the creality laser. I was really looking into a fiber but I decided to take a chance on this and it had Fairly good reviews on Amazon so I made that move. Upon receiving the laser, I opened everything and all looked well everything was packaged nicely so I assembled everything and fired it up for the first time. The laser immediately fired on 100% high power in the same spot I wasn't paying attention as I was still working on some cable management behind the laser and my bench caught on fire. Nothing significant but still had my blood moving a little bit. Pawn examining the machine I realized that the memory board plug pins were all mangled up, I did my best to strengthen them out and I was able to get the laser to fire properly but then I had no stepper motors for my x-axis. I contacted the company immediately and I've since been waiting over 2 months for them to send me a replacement motherboard. I had to fight with Amazon on the return because I had limited amount of days even though I bought it and was dealing with the same company. I would not recommend this laser to anyone simply because the customer service is non-existent. This plug issue is very notorious, I've been on the Facebook groups and a few other groups and lots and lots of people have hadthis issue and very few have actually had help correcting it. If you want something that will work right out of the box and if not at least you will have support for I would not recommend sticking with creality.

Easy of use, quick setup
The laser engraver I recently purchased has been a fantastic addition to my workshop. Its ease of use and straightforward setup make it accessible for both beginners and experienced crafters alike. From unboxing to engraving, the entire process is intuitive. The clear instructions made setup a breeze, and within a short amount of time, I was engraving my first project. The software it comes with is user-friendly and offers plenty of flexibility for different design types. One of the things I really appreciate is how quickly the machine goes from setup to operation. It doesn't take long to get everything aligned and running, which is great when you're working on multiple projects or trying to meet deadlines. The engraver works smoothly and precisely, producing high-quality results every time. The laser itself is powerful yet controlled, capable of detailed engravings on a variety of materials like wood, acrylic, and even metal. However, the only downside I encountered is when trying to connect the rotary tool. The space around the connection area is quite tight, making it a bit challenging if you have larger hands. It can be a bit of a struggle to get everything set up properly, but once it's connected, the rotary tool works flawlessly, allowing for precise cylindrical engravings.Despite that minor inconvenience, I absolutely love this product. The engraver is efficient, reliable, and versatile, capable of handling a range of creative projects. Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional, this laser engraver is a great investment that will help bring your ideas to life. Highly recommended!

Really fun!
I have only played with it for a short time and am already getting the hang of it. I love the thing. High quality. Nice price point. Works really well. I use LightBurn software which seems to be similar platform to Adobe etc. I would recommend buying a decent heavier gauge usb cable to transmit data to the laser from the computer. I bought a camera set up also for about 79$ which I suspect will make it much much easier to place the planned engraving in the correct spot on the target substrate; that is a bit tricky. I bought it for hobby/fun but I can see how people can make some money with it.
